0 Karl Archuleta
6 years later and this little note helped me out a lot today. I opened a cakewalk (.wrk) file that I had created way back in 1998. Impressively, it opened! Even crazier was that when I opened it, the old file info dialog box and an ancient "panel" opened up. That functionality is still buried in the binary of the current cakewalk! I think when I created this originally, I was connecting to a Roland SC-55 Sound Canvas hardware synth module. I loaded the TTS-1 soft synth and "voila!" I had a functioning song with the old instruments still mapped. The panel still functioned and the control was reflected in the current mixer view. Very cool! Edited January 24 by Karl Archuleta
