bjornpdx Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 I'm liking this one a lot, Doug. Not much to critique IMO, maybe could be EQ'd a bit brighter IDK. Really liked that lead in ~ 0:35. Something in there sounds like a 60s band to me but can't put my finger on it. 1

By the way, the lead guitar on this one is a Fender Telecaster - I thought it fit the song. 1

I'm pretty sure your rhythm guitars in the first part of the song are out just ahead the beat of the snare. The drums and bass seem locked, but you might check to see if those guitars are anticipating the drums just a tad. The lead guitar seems in the pocket, tho. excellent as usual! cheers, -Tom 1

Guest Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Great tone on the lead guitar, I'd like to drive that rhythm guitar just a bit harder but it's very personal thing, I also think a bit more reverb would lift the vocal a touch - great track though - another keeper. Andy
