randy hunter Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Hi, I have 2 condenser mics thru scarlette 2i2. when recording, the mic tracks are so loud I cannot hear my backtrack. I also have an echo. I tried to reduce latency in the tracks. even when not recording I have an echo from the mics.
0 scook Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 The echo could be the result of enabling input echo on the track(s) in the DAW while also directly monitoring the mics in the interface. Turn input echo off when using direct monitoring. This may also solve the level problem.
