Vernon Barnes
I have always thought Bandcamp were the good guys in the digital music market and now they have this initiative to help musicians that use their platform. To raise even more awareness around the pandemic’s impact on musicians everywhere, we’re waiving our revenue share on sales this Friday, March 20 (from midnight to midnight Pacific Time), and rallying the Bandcamp community to put much needed money directly into artists’ pockets Full details here https://daily.bandcamp.com/features/bandcamp-covid-19-fundraiser Obviously many people have their own financial worries at this time but if you are in the position to do it Friday 20th March would be a good day to treat yourself to some new music and help the artist. And if you have any content for sale on there it may be worth doing a bit of promotion. If you are unaware of their policies check the out here - They are defiantly not Spotify https://bandcamp.com/fair_trade_music_policy

All round good operation as far as I can see, particularly for new and independent artists. Downloads are available in a number of formats, not just crappy low bitrate MP3s. I usually download 320mps MP3 for the phone and WAV for playing on the computer. They also offer an avenue for artists to sell physical CD and DVD and other merchandise.
