That's a really cool ballad Jesse - it's been awhile since I heard her voice - she has a good one.

I liked the violins in the background - they sounded quite good to me.

I really liked that ending as well - well done.

smooth chord progression, nice melody, good voice! That's a great foundation. I liked the pizzicato strings as well. That string swell at the very end is great, it has a sense of urgency!

The kick drum choice is flabby of course, and demands the listener's attention - is that what you want?

If this was  a conventional band, I believe the rest of the players would convene an official Band Meeting, and prolly kick the drummer out, because the  guitarist knows a guy.

This is quite a departure Jesse and very good it is.  Actually, it is a beautiful ballad and well demonstrates your versatility.  The vocal were very well done  --- was that you?  Really???

Jesse!  Do you have a sweet tooth?  I love the song and vocal, and my suggestion would be to flip the volume ratio of the instruments vs. vocal so the voice doesn't get buried.  Otherwise, sweeeeet!
