Custom layout (last viewed) does not save

-----and opens to unwanted layout having to start all over again.  Have the screen sets moved? What box to I need to check?

Really where should I start to learn about the screen enhancements  of Bandlab over Sonar Platinum.  It has been at least 3 years.

The documentation has a New Features section at the top of the table of contents. There is also a "What's New?" option in the CbB main menu help that links to the current release notes and notes for all previous releases.

By layout, I guess you mean the way the entire screen looks not the plug-in layout. Chances are a workspace is involved. These used to be called lenses. Either create your own custom workspace or set it to None.
