what it was like to go to the grocery store in the “ before times “

We went last night to Meijer's and the place was a zoo.  Almost all of the bread was gone. Cans of soup forget it. Fresh meat cases were wiped clean. It was an adventure. We went because we needed regular items as we normally shop on Friday night.  My wife said I guess I should of went on Thursday night after work. We normally have a pretty good stock of food items so we didn't have to panic buy like the rest of the people there shopping.

I stopped on the way to work at the local Walmart for fresh rolls and got lucky this morning. They had some but the bread aisle was already pretty much empty.  Tonight is Italian beef sandwiches ?

Well with all the turmoil in the stock market, grocery stores stock prices should be up

I had to get things at Walmart yesterday for my Mom (who's 90).  It took 8 minutes to grab everything, but 50 minutes in the checkout lane!  Bleh...  ?

Same here,  we went to Costco to  get our monthly stuff and talk about a zoo.....of course, no toilet paper anywhere to be found  ?. Some crazy peeps out there....
