Daryl L. Samuel Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 I've been using Antares' Auto-Tune products for a few years now and unfortunately, I haven't been having the best experience using EFX 3 in SONAR/Cakewalk. There is a 'popping' sound that pops up intermittently throughout playback and also in my renders. I'm aware that there is insufficient testing and support for SONAR/Cakewalk (based on Antares' DAW compatibility webpage) but if it's not too much to ask, is it possible for the developers to look into this for Cakewalk 2019?
msmcleod Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 I've found a lot of the Antares products to perform badly in Cakewalk when using VST3, i.e. the pops & clicks you mention. Using the VST2 version instead fixed it for me. 1

What sample rate do you run at? I'm running 44.1/24bit using a buffer of 64. I need to run VST2 for THROAT-Evo and ASPIRE-Evo. I've not got Autotune itself though, which may be much more processor hungry. 1
Jim Roseberry Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 This doesn't answer the OP's question... but he might want to check out Melodyne (light version included with CbB). Melodyne is far more advanced (sounds better) for intonation adjustment.
scook Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 CbB contains a time-limited trial version of Melodyne Editor.
