Keith Wilby
What are the odds? Two people working on songs with the same title. A good old fashioned mushy love song here, completed almost completely in CbB. Hope you enjoy it. https://www.bandlab.com/wilbyforce/waitingforyou20-05cb669c?revId=3f3a4aaa-9854-ea11-a94c-0003ffd1c4f7
daryl1968
loving the chord changes Keith. Great vocal performance again - your voice reminds me of someone and I just can't put my finger on it. Mix-wise, the drums lack a bit of punch somehow
Keith Wilby
Will revisit the drums, thanks for listening.
Johnbee58
Chord changes are unique and interesting. Is that a Rhodes model (or perhaps the real thing)? Arrangement flows nicely. ?John B
Beagle
Hi Keith, really nice tune and great sounds you have! great vox. really nice dreamy guitar in the solo! your mix is really compressed, tho, it doesn't breathe much and when you add the keys in for the chorus, they tend to step on the vox, they sound too hot. just my 2 cents.
Douglas Kirby
Another good song from you - very cool. Of course I like the song title? I really enjoyed your lead vocal - the performance and the fx you used there. I liked the BGVs too. The mix had a nice full sound due to the BGVs - sounded quite nice to my ears.
DeeringAmps
Pretty bass heavy in the car. I’d balance it to the kick a bit more. Nudge the vocal up just a bit? Nice solo, tasty. Cool how the high “you” morphed into the guitar out. Thumbs up, work the mix a bit, or not. Your song, your production. t
bitflipper
Agree with Tom regarding the bass. Not too bad on my speakers, which are pretty flat, but on headphones that are a bit bass-hyped (as most are, and most car stereos, too) the low bass is a bit overwhelming. Personal preference only, but I'd suggest backing off the reverb a bit on the lead vocal (it's fine on the BGVs). Maybe bring up the delay a little if that sounds too dry. The song, though, is great, as is the production. Love the guitar lead. Tasty.
