Benq gl2450T
Hi all, Just migrating from Sonar X3 to Bandlab and trying to re-install the ins files for my sound modules. All is OK except the Roland XV5050 ins file is missing. It still shows up in Sonar X3 but I can't find the ins file itself. Does anyone have it or give me a link to it? I've trawled the internet so far without success. Any help appreciated Mike
0 scook
If the definitions are they way you like them in X3 then rename the master.ins file in %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core copy the master.ins from X3 folder in %appdata%\Cakewalk into %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core The X3 folder is product specific so it could be SONAR X3 Producer, SONAR X3 Studio or just SONAR X3 depending on the version you purchased.
0 user 905133
FWIW, the third-party filename indexer/search utility called "Everything" allows for locating files, dragging and dropping, sorting by date, etc. Also, the standard Roland.ins file (sorry I don't have the Cakewalk *.ins files link handy) seems to have the XV-5050 definitions--such as "[XV-5050 GM2 Capital] and many other banks. I will see if I can find a link. Edited February 20, 2020 by User 905133 to add a link to the Cakewalk page that has *.ins files
0 UCG Musician
Did you get an answer on this? Do you still need ins files for the XV-5050? If so, I have them.
