Hornet VU Meter Mk4 crashing cbb

Anyone having issues with this plugin?

I have not been able to get its auto gain feature to work at all, it keeps crashing CBB. The  plugin scans all OK and appears in VST folder. I can insert it into a track OK and set my reference, maximum etc. Then I hit Auto and then play the track and CBB just shuts down. I have tried this on several different individual tracks, as well as multiple tracks and it is the same behavior each time. There is no crash error message in CBB or error code etc, CBB just closes down when I try and play the track/process Hornet's Auto feature. My system is not under heavy load, all software is up to date and  no other problems.

I have the latest version (4.1.2) of the x64 VUMeter Mk4 plugins installed. I tried both VST2 and VST3 versions and they seem to work fine in CbB using Auto gain. I also tried a mixture of VST2 and 3 on individual tracks and the master bus without any issues.

Does this happen in any project? You mention trying it on different tracks and multiple tracks but is that all within the same project? If so it might be project specific.
Try starting a new project and see if the same thing happens.

This happens on all projects, but on further investigation it seems this crash behaviour only happens with the VST3 version of the plugin. I have been able to get Auto gain working OK with the VST2 version. Both versions are 64bit.

Interestingly, the VST2 version also thinks an audio track is stereo (both gain bars display) even when it is a mono source and the track setting is 'interleave mono'.
