kitekrazy Posted January 18, 2020 Posted January 18, 2020 There is nothing indicated that this is free. It's a link just to download.

paulo Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 I really wanted to like Samplitude. I got the demo a few years back and tried to get into it, but then the 1980's called and said that they wanted their UI back. 1 2

At least they make it a little more bearable. But the DAW itself is a powerhouse. There's a lot going on under the hood! 1

There are some great skin choices for Samplitude out there...this one of mine is semi custom, but wonderful for my use. The official mixer part of this skin is available here. https://www.lioncrestpro.com/product/prodesk-v3-mixer-skin-for-samplitude-pro-x4-x3/1 Edited January 22, 2020 by Adam Compeau

Eusebio Rufian-Zilbermann Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 I already have X3 suite, has anybody tried installing X4 side by side with X3? (I'm concerned about the downgrade from suite to silver)

Skins don't solve the problem for me. It's more a question of workflow and layout. For me Cakewalk beats it all day every day in that respect. .
kitekrazy Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 I have X3 Suite and removed it. Too many DAWs as it is. I think what holds a DAW back is lack of 3rd party tutorials. Groove3 now has one for X4.

aidan o driscoll Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 Did you see it installs .DOTNET drivers from 2013 with it ( if you dont have them already ). Coincidentally after installing it my windows 10 started giving trouble with slow loads etc. I uninstalled it + Dotnets. Still not sure whether this was the cause
