When recordong.... how can I make Cakewalk use the clock received from a MIDI device (keyboard in my case playing rythm for example)?

Head to Preferences | Project | Clock (Advanced) > set Source to "MIDI Clock"

Keep in mind. if there is ANY audio coming from the DAW, the clock must be set to Audio so the DAW can use the audio interface sample clock.
