I may need to just minimize the overall compressor. Also, tell me if the guitar/keys solos are even. I've been going through a SAGA phase and I'm doubling my guitar lead with the keys. I'd bump up the presence of that bass - if anything, you need more foundation to support the brilliance of what is going on upstairs. When it breaks into the 4/4, I really like your instrumentation and guitar features in that section! cheers, -Tom

Wookiee Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Overtones of Mr. Fripp and King Crimson in the somewhat repetitive riff in the opening minute or so. MIx sounds OK though as Tom notes a little more on the bottom end would be nice. 1

Pete Laramee Posted January 12, 2020 Author Posted January 12, 2020 Thanks for taking the time to listen. I tweaked the bass eq and volume (and updated the link), but I think I'm going to have to make more adjustments to the volume envelope for the bass.
