  1. We went out for walk around the track, where it seems that a wandering animal had left something behind. On the first couple of rounds we didn't notice but on the turd time around we made the mistake of finding it.
  2. I would have to say that some great sounds can be had with just the sound sources that come with cakewalk. One thought is to selectively double the tracks to thicken & vary the sound. You can edit the volume envelope on one or both of the doubled tracks for variations.
  3. My wife said she wanted to get high, so I gave her a pair of heels.
  4. Are you moving items accidentally with the Arranger track ? Pretty sure this is user - and not a bug.
  5. Another thought: Adjust the Attack & Release times a bit to vary your sound over the course of the song.
  6. External modules. Also some of this may have to do with how you are creating the sequences. Are you writing them on a staff or step inputting, are you hard quantizing ? * Maybe you can use a CAL program to loosen it up. I believe there is one available. * Or quantize to a strength percentage if you are recording midi from a keyboard & you quantize. I use 91% I have seen some who say 85%. There are some who won't quantize at all. * There is also a groove quantize, I don't know much about that - have not used it in a very long time. (Decades - I think) * You could change the swing percentage a little in the quantize dialog. * You could use a vary velocity CAL if you have all similar velocities in your track. In any case unless you are recording live instruments it's just not going to sound like live instruments. Midi is great it allows you to do many things, but it does tend towards stiff.
  7. When I was a kid I wouldn't play baseball or football or tennis. So I got the Noball prize when I was pretty young.
  8. I was kicking three pairs of shoes down the hall when my wife asked me what I was doing. I told her I herd shoes on the floor.
  9. Focusrite (Scarlett) Suggests a 3M cable length. How feasible is it to use a longer cable. (Thanks to any replies in advance)
  10. This keeps popping up on my screen: "The days of shingles are over" I'm trying to figure out why a roofing company is getting involved in a medical issue.
  11. It is looking very much like the joint would have been in stress not compression as the cars pulled away in the video. It may have been in compression as the car approached but the track was literally pulling away as it passed the column in the video I saw. It looks as if the welds might have failed at that point. That is if it was a welded and not a one piece unit at the top of the column. Looks welded to me though. I think I read someplace that some rides have sensors that detect this kind of thing.
  12. But there is no rhyme or reason, last I heard.
  13. If all else fails make sure the cable & connections are good. Actually that is so easy I'd eliminate that first.
  14. Kid: Dad what's a rock crusher ? Dad: Disco.
  15. This is a life long thing so changes in supplements couldn't be it. But that's not to say something hasn't always been missing.
  16. My understanding is that there is really nothing you can do. Does anybody here know something else ?
  17. To me anyway I thought the theme editor was a waste of time. Both to use & to create. This is about music not graphics. I read about it, even downloaded it. I don't even think I ever used it. I figured why bother. If it does not help with the music then why ? IMO.
  18. I want to say it out loud, I am not interested in a subscription.
  19. Can't you just tag as spam & it goes there ?
