Maybe just an old habit but I always hit control A to select everything just before I export.

I've had ongoing problems with Xpand2 as well it works briefly then the next time stops working. Just makes a clicking sound once, that's it - sometimes even crashes cakewalk.

Crash on load is extremely rare for me. However I always save a Bundles backup at the same time on a different drive. This has bailed me out many times for this problem and for certain others of my own making. Maybe someone can make a bundles backup for you that you could try ? Possibly disabling plug ins that might be causing a problem on your end ?

My keyboard died. I guess it was just out of tyne.

Does anybody know if there is a way to edit the cakewalk Arp patterns ?

Took me years to realize that was there but it is highly useful. You can play the sounds via midi while you scroll through the sounds. Watch your spelling or do part of the word. Sometimes bass is bass, sometimes it's Bs.

What else can I do do I just shake my head...........Ouch.

You might want to swap over to using the arranger it's more visible & can be color coded. I used to use markers too. As msmcleod noted to me in another thread if you right click just above the arranger track you can copy your markers directly into the arranger. (Great trick BTW) * Select all first (Ctrl-A) then after the convert you can delete all the markers in one shot in the marker view if you want.

I was watching TV earlier and there was a discussion going on about how doctors make decisions about the compatibility of organs. That got me thinking hey I must be a doctor because I do that too.

I just right click & use move to folder - seems to work fine. (on all selected tracks)

Just leave the Mix module open on the control bar. One click. (now I see someone already said this - but the record hint below is still good) This is also handy to show if there are any tracks set to record that you can't otherwise see in your current view. (Helps to be sure you don't record over something) Check it to see if the red dot is lit before you hit record on your intended track.

Ran into the bathroom in a hurry earlier. Did what I had to do then looked down. It was a strange tint of red. Of course I was all kinds of worried but found out that as a prank someone had put dye in the bowl. This folks is what you would call an off color joke.
