Which support did you contact?  I'm having the same problem except my email is on another "C" drive in my computer, (I use two "C" drives.  1 for business, emails etc and 1 for music).  So obviously I can't use the 2FA which emails.  Can this be changed to a phone call?

    TIA

Hi, I just submitted a request here: https://help.bandlab.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

They turned it around pretty quick considering I'm on New Zealand time

    Cheers

It most certainly doesn't force you to sign in via Facebook. The sign in process is identical for Sonar as well as Cbb or even the Bandlab web for that matter.
It prompts you to sign in a very industry standard SSO (single sign on) page where you can sign in using whatever mechanism you chose when you created your BandLab account. This is what I see.

You can use your username and password (assuming you create your account that way) or you can use Google, Facebook, Apple, or  potentially SMS to sign in.

No it didn't force me to sign in via FB, *after* I signed in is when I got the screen below with no options to change the 2fa method:

Either way, after my support call I now get 2fa codes to my email.

  3. I went in today an instead of FB, it just emailed a 2FA code to my email address, which is fine / how it should have been from the beginning.

I emailed them a help request before I posted here, so I'm not sure if it's changed for just my account or for everyone, so I guess if it's still happening for anyone else, raise a support ticket?

    Cheers

  4. I've just been trying to activate my CBB instance, and after I successfully log in it's trying to force me to connect to my facebook account, which I'm not going to do for what should be obvious reasons in 2025. I'd be happy to do 2FA using an auth app or something, but I'm not going to connect my account to FB.

All I want to do is activate, but I can't get past this FB thing.

Are other people getting this or is it just me?

Since that is a new forum, I re-post what I have written on the old one:

There is user created preset for AZ Controller: http://www.azslow.com/index.php?topic=458.0
I can not say what it can since I do not have the device.

Buses are in a separate section and require explicit switching, as in Cakewalk GUI. I do not know if that is already implemented in mentioned preset, but it is definitively possible to add if not yet there (you can ask the preset creator, do this yourself or ask me... but please use the last option only after you have the device and ready to test the result).

    Hi Azslow,

I've been using Jan's preset for a while and got it doing pretty much everything I'd like it to except the bus pane thing, which is kinda working, but not really (as in attached image). I'm focusing the pane, but the WAI doesn't change as I'd expect, do you have any tips / ideas on where to go?

    Many thanks in advance

  6. Thanks Toms,

I'll have a go at incorporating the suggestions.

The genre would be post rock mostly I guess, like Mono, Explosions in the Sky, This Will Destroy You

The drums are SD3 played via my TD-20

Thanks for the listens and the thoughts

  7. Hi guys,

There was a bug a while back where projects would remap the midi inputs to another controller when you reopened the project, this was fixed, but now appears to be back again. The fix last time wasn't 100% fix either, it only fixed new projects, old projects would continue to map to a different midi controller. It's not the end of the world, but it is super annoying. What is worse though, is that sometimes the outputs map to a different soft synth, so if you've got a projects with 10 or so synths and suddenly all the midi tracks are randomly pointing elsewhere, it's a little tiresome to fix

    Cheers

  8. Hi Jan,

Thanks for this, I'd been remapping functions with the MC User mode and gotten great results, but this is another level. I've modified and changed it to suit my workflow, but I wasn't able to figure out the things you mention in your azslow post either (first time installing AZ Control). If anyone has any ideas for how to switch the focus to the buses so we could control them with the X-Touch One that would also be amazing

I'll keep trying in the meantime

Right-clicking the record button in the transport module will open Preferences > Project > Record.

Yup, but that only alters the current project, I have to do that every time

  10. Thanks guys, I haven't seen a way to do it in preferences, but overwriting the Normal template is a nice way to do it.  I'll have a stab when I get home

    Cheers

  11. Howdy guys,

When I make a new project I want my recording mode to always be sound-on-sound by default rather than comping, is there a way to make CbB do this without setting up a project template (and separately would a template remember the recording mode?)

    Cheers
