  1. I have a limited number of characters to work with on each post. . After I put all the characters in I can't post any more unless I delete something or move stuff. (If you look at the beginning of the thread you can see that I have moved a ton of virtual instruments into what used to be my "announcement post" at the beginning.) I was full in the Virtual Instruments and Effects section days ago. I've been deleting and moving since then to make room for new stuff. Obviously one thing I'm doing is to just not put in new stuff. Today's the day after Black Friday. If it was loops it would be different. Plenty of room down there. ?
  2. As he is your friend you might want to tell him that with all his codes I can't list him in my TTF list. And that's too bad. I mean it doesn't matter for my list because it's too late for this year and I'm not doing it again. I have very, very few characters to work with.
  3. And then I will take all these loops on a MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR!
  4. I haven't use this much since I got it, but it was a lot of fun to play with then. I may go for the update. I don't feel like I've scratched the surface with Scaler, but this is something very different.
  5. Do you know how long this is up? Or should I just buy it today? But then, when will I download all this stuff?
  6. One of my very favorite ujam instruments.
  7. I just picked up the Air and Cube Bundle. Using my customer discount it was a little over a hundred. Been wanting this since I saw the Sample Library Review video, but $249 was a bit much for me. AIR is a new expansion they've just released, that has a lot of new windy content in addition to presets. In addition, they've released three free preset packs since they released this: https://lunacy.audio/cube-preset-packs/ Merry Christmas, Me!
  8. I bought this program years ago and used it all the time, both for my work as a publicity writer and as a songwriter. The problem was that they made it extremely difficult to move it whenever I got a new computer. In those days, they didn't have anything like a de-install/re-install. I was always on the phone with them all the time. Without their internet registration, it didn't work. Finally they went to subscriiption, which meant the $100 I gave them was trashed. I bought a year of it on subscription. but I don't think they improved it much beyond what I had already paid for. Now there are insanely good programs for the iPad. Lots of them. They all do different things. You don't need to pay monthly and having a few of them beats Masterwriter. But it's not as simple and convenient. So I might pick up another year at this price, because it is handy.
  9. To sum up what I wrote--this is a new age library. It's not like the others. But it's a crazy good deal at this price, IMHO. I bought Kwaya for $129.50, which is the lowest I've ever seen it. That's what it costs to buy it. If you want to crossgrade, it's still $179. ?
  10. Since getting Nylon Sky, I've been working on a video comparing it to my collection of nylon guitar VIs and it sounds the best. Not the best features, but the best sound. I don't have the ones from Ample Sound or Ilya Efimov, though. So in my opinion Nylon Sky is a top-level virtual instrument with a bonus Omni expansion. For less than the price than many nylon guitar Vis. $149 is fair.
  11. Falcon is a GREAT synth but it has a tragic flaw. The whole design of it is to layer lots of stuff into one complex patch. Brilliant. But it doesn't work. You want to layer patches but it only uses one core at a time. So it uses massive system resources and forget it. Unify is multi-core, so you can load many Falcon patches in it and save a preset there. It works! Unify shows what Falcon can be! During BF I load my new libraries and effects into Unify. You don't have to scan (although that's very fast), you just drag the .dll file in and you're good to go. No dealing with Cubase. But Unify is well worth it just for the stuff that comes with it. You get a lot of wonderful patches from John Lehmkuhl's career as a sound designer. So many of my come-with Unify stuff ends up in my templates of favorite things. Love the ambient guitars. You can think of it as a rompler with super powers. And they keep making it more powerful with numerous added features.
  12. I think I put that "today only" deal up on my several days ago. ?
  13. Didn't this company used to be called Hexachords? Anybody have the new version? Worth paying €39 for an upgrade?
  14. Now I know that most of you have a ton of money in the shop so this doesn't mean much to you. But for the general public, the Shop often has much better prices than the BF Sales. Check out the Impact Soundworks deals, for example. That's just one of many.
  15. I am saving SO much more money on Spitfire. I haven't bought anything from them for two or three years.
  16. Do I hear an echo? ? So glad this is my last year. I can't wait until November is over. Then I collapse in a heap. I'll be reading your posts in bed. One positive thing is I have only been able to make big purchases so far--Arturia V collection update, IK TS 3.5, and Beyer-Dynamic DT 770 PRO headphones. There's a lot of stuff I want, but I don't know if I'll find time to buy them. Typing, typing, typing... and my wife mentioned something about a turkey today.
  17. I just got the Arturia and IK ones, although I haven't explored them yet. Honestly, I don't use Mello much.
  18. This was given away free long ago. ?
  19. Anybody know what the discount is here? I can't use it on my page without that. Thanks!
  20. I didn't use the application to get the sounds. I downloaded them from the "My Products" page. I didn't have problems installing. I did the "de-authorize/ Authorize" maneuver and that was that. I like Syntronik 2 a lot. The sounds load a LOT faster. There are a lot more effects. If you load up the old Syntronik, you can see them. The editing page from SampleTank is a nice addition, although it doesn't work with the old patches. All the sounds I tried loaded up fine. But loading multis crashed Syntronik 2 constantly. Also multis from the original Syntronik didn't sound good at all. I did some comparisons. Maybe I did something wrong in the install. I hope this can be fixed. The multis are my favorite thing about Syntronik. Also, there didn't seem to be a lot of multis included with the new sounds. I will try support.
  21. I didn't get an email but I looked on the site. I spent $299 on Vintage Vault and got $10. I'm not really up on UVI vouchers. The first one I got was 2020 and it was $30. Is there another voucher coming in January? Is this a quarterly thing?
  22. It's Mac only? This was one of my very favorite synths on the iPad.
  23. Ko-fi doesn't charge anything, but Paypal takes a fee for "donations." 2.89% + fixed fee based on the currency. So the number is different depending on where people send the money from. But maybe by sending the money directly to Paypal you bypass that.
  24. Hey Peter, To be clear, is the price to get from Syntronik 2 to Syntronik 2 MAX $149.99? Thanks! Reid
