  1. I don't think any of the tools in the Sonnox restoration bundle are aimed at fixing clipped audio, I guess they could possibly help depending on the clipping, but I would think you'd be better of using the de-clipping function in iZotope RX (or one of the other tools in RX to fix / smooth / repair the clipping), Acon Digital Restoration Suite 2 has a de clip plugin, or there are alternative de-clipping options you could try, as it can be a bit of trial and error to see what works best to fix the clipping. If you have a single very short bit of clipping, you could possibly fix the clipping with an audio editor that can edit at sample level, as it can be possible to manually rebuild smooth out the clipping, by rebuilding the wave form, but you need to have the time and patience to do it, I've fixed a few thing manually at sample level, things like vinyl clicks, etc.
  2. Some real discounts there, I think the Pi and Phi MkIII for 25 euros would be my pick, if I didn't already have it.
  3. Thank you for reminding me... forgot I already have the Pulsar Audio W495.
  4. Season's Greetings to all, have a happy and safe one.
  5. Not sure how buying via PA works, but I guess you redeem it on the Acon site, and download a License Key. So I would think if you bought Digital Restoration Suite 2 you'd be able to download the latest Acon Digital Restoration Suite 2 version from Acon site, and your existing License Key should still work, you can also get your License Key resent to you. Acon Digital stuff is very good value, the Acoustica Premium Edition with all the extra plugins is great value especially when on sale.
  6. Mira, wishing you a speedy recovery, and you're out hospital very soon, to have a great Christmas and new year.
  7. In fairness to DiscoDSP they do mention it at bottom of the OX-XD page: "Credit and Licensing OB-Xd is a software synthesizer developed under a commercial license granted by Vadim Filatov, also known as 2Dat. All rights and permissions for the use of OB-Xd have been lawfully obtained in accordance with the terms of the license agreement."
  8. I'm seeing £29.90, and then getting a much lower price of £5.98 when logged in! Even so gonna pass on this bundle as don't think I'd use it.
  9. Give me any single installer any day, over a product portals, etc. I ran iZotopes Product Portal yesterday and it insisted that it updates to latest version, unfortunately latest version doesn't run on my mac OS! Contacted support, reply: "I am sorry for the inconvenience. Here is a link to download and install the previous version of Product Portal that is compatible with your operating system: Please let us know if you are able to use the application correctly. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to prevent the program from prompting the update to the unsupported version. " So I can download and reinstall a version that is compatible with my OS, and before I can do anything, it seems that it's going to update itself to an unsupported version, again, brilliant! Madness.
  10. Loyalty pricing, I was thinking about the bundle, as on the website at bundle up section it mentions "Looking for an upgrade? Great! Get in contact with us" I have asked how much to upgrade to the bundle from the two plugins I already have, but I've not received a reply so far, so not sure if there is loyalty pricing.
  11. The TC Native bundle - what a great bundle, the reverb, filtrator, and the compressor, with side-chain plugin, were excellent. I ended up going down the TC Powercore route although that ended up being a dead end!
  12. I think some updates have been free, and major new version have been paid for, the upgrade from the old PSP85 to the new PSP 285 is $28.50, and the old Lexicon PSP42 to the new is $49 (until May the 1st, and after that date, the upgrade will cost $69).
  13. Always liked both the PSP42 and PSP84 (and then the updated PSP85), and I've just given the new PSP42x version a quick demo, it's a very nice update, I will upgrade. I have the PSP85, but I wasn't so impressed with updated PSP285 when I demoed it, and haven't so far bothered to update it.
  14. Seems a fair choice for vocals, and having iZotope already covers you for most things.
  15. Darn it... "You already own FirePresser" ...lol
