  1. Since the $10 pop days are over at PA I've elected to go with the yearly MEGA XL which provides 10 plugins free at the price of $299 (that's $29.99 per plugin, a price I'm willing to pay in the new environment). I got my first year for $249 (and IIRC that same price as long as I keep my subscription), that's $24.99 per plugin. So far this year there have been 6 new titles. I already own everything but these 6. When 4 more are created I'll cash in for those 10 plugins.
  2. Despite the refusal to refund ~$20, I still support Toontrack all the way, as do I for Addictive Drums (own them all too). That's (maybe) good news for XLN. The only things I don't own from XLN are Trigger (I'm covered with Slate), Life and XO. Another Drum rompler is Accent by Platinum Samples. It's limited to 4 libraries and the cost of that enterprise is over $400. I have 2 of the libraries (both had on sale), Ocean Way provided by Platinum Samples and Galaxy Drums by Space Cabin Audio. The other two libraries are Joe Barresi's Evil Drums by Platinum (which I have as Toontrack lib from back in the day) and Desert Drum by Space Cabin Audio ($132 for me, $35 move over the price of a single SD3 lib if I buy this 3 pack serials from bestservice) . The standout features of Accent is that it can host 3rd party VST/VST3s in the player and IIRC it can also trigger any other 3rd party brand library by loading that as a VST/VST3. Sadly, no new libraries have been created for well over 5 years now, nor has any further development been done since 1.0.3 of the player. Platinum Samples is a small company.
  3. I'll leave the synths to the masters around these parts.

    Ooops

Ooooops You (and Brittany) Did It Again??
  5. Come to think of it, somewhere around 2011 we saw Chad and Jeremy at small church venue where (at different times) we saw Venice (once) and Eric Bibb (twice). None of those were most memorable but certainly notable.
  6. We have a Chad & Jeromy where I work. They're not musicians and thus might just be the wort concert I'll ever hear.
  7. I've done that too. For PA I've done it on purpose back when adding a 5.99 item got you over the line for a HUGE discount on an item. With other smaller companies I've taken to looking at my installs more frequently. About 90% of the time a vendor will refund after explaining to them it was a dual purchase. The biggst exception is Toontrack. Quite a few years back I made a "mistake" purchase and asked for a refund. They flat out said no. It was around $20.
  8. Not gonna buy them. I already own them all.
  9. And yet they (users) continue to do the same thing over and over expecting different results. That's the definition of insanity.? So I will STFU about how they work fine on Windows, even though I do care that it works fine.?
  10. I have a perpetual license for Musio 1. Are you saying that Ireland & Scotland will be free to me?
  11. If only I had a Allen&Heath live console, then I'd be able to say "Installed!".?
  12. Well, 30% off ain't 50% on Black Friday (assuming they off 50% off at that time).
  13. Agreed. Hopefully a Black Friday sale 50% off.
  14. Great job Kevin. Personal preferences: Raise the vox by 1-1.5db Right side rhythm guitar might be a tad loud.

    Prime Day 2024

No it's prime the pump day.
  18. Yup, just now.... Installed!
  19. Did you click on the updates tab? I did and it was there, so.......... Installed!
  20. Nope. Still 1.4.15 no prompt to update. Closed, reopened and still the same.
  21. Oh Pasadena Rose Palace. The Chambers Brothers, Brian Auger and Trinity, Elvin Bishop Blues Band & Led Zepplin (touring their first album). Open stage, no curtains, no "back stage". Open floor seating. My buddy and I got right up to the stage for the whole show. Best part of that concert & lineup: all four bands played one set, and then came back for the same rotation and did a completely different set. Zep debuted several numbers from their (not yet released) 2nd album. Most memorable was Heartbreaker and Moby Dick. In between the two sets Robert Plant came down to the front of the stage and a very polite with two 15.5 year old fans (me and my buddy Dave).
  22. Yes @ the Los Angeles Forum in the 5th row on the floor directly in front of Rick Wakeman and Chris Squire. This was the "prime" lineup. I honestly don't remember who opened the show. Wild Turkey opening for Black Sabbath. Also @ the Los Angeles Forum. And the third entry is Cat Mother and The All Night Newsboys, Chicago Transit Authority & Jimi Hendrix, once again @ the Los Angeles Forum. Some two decades later I was given the Jimi Hendrix Box Set (CD) which included the show from that same night, so I can relive it anytime I want.
  23. (happily and carefree) Installed!
