  1. Got my 4th shot (2nd booster) on Friday and I had a tender/sore arm in the shot area for two days. The Lovely Lady had a mild upset stomach and wore arm (just like the three other times). I've not knowingly been around anyone with it. My circle of physically seen friend is limited to about 20 people (all fully vaxxed). I can't attest to their exposures but most are either retired or work from home. I go to a sit down restaurant once a week (location varies) with most of these 20 friends. We, atm, won't go to indoor theaters or large "concert like" settings regardless of venue. Lastly, I think I had an early case of it in Nov 2019. Very flu like and coughing for about 10 weeks. That was back when our company had a physical space.

    Catatonic

That was done on purpose, I wanted the focus to be on the drums and the vocal in the "bridge".

    Dromoland

Nigel, This is the second song that I listened to in the last three weeks that I was certain I commented on but alas I did not (until now). Simply put I really enjoyed that.

    Catatonic

Revised mix at 8:51 AM (PST) 29 May 2022
  5. Urban legend? Maybe. Zak asks dad Ringo to teach him drums and dad sets up lessons from Keith. Zak now performs in the The Who (since 1996).
  6. Since I'm 69 going on 70 I grew up absorbing all the bands from the British Invasion. I already liked The Who and Tommy was such a pivotal album from them to me. In 1969-70 (unsure exactly) I got to see The Who at Anaheim Stadium. Daltry says "We're gonna do a song from Tommy" and they proceed to do the entire album. It's not a concert video or rockumentary but I can still replay it in my head.
  7. "Ram is everything" ~Alan Parson* Years ago there was a contest by Musician's Friend to win a DAW. Alan Parson "delivered it" and had a discussion with the winner where he said the above quote.

    Redaba

Nice little piece there David. JMO, but the flue parts were a bit overbearing (volume wise). I get that it's the "main" instrument but.... ?

    Blues of the Night

Vocal gives me a Tom Petty vide. Mix wise drums and bass are kind of buried to my ears.

    Tender is the Light

Very nice song and message Rex. Great falsetto and harmonies. Really Good Mix. Personal taste: I would have put a tad more verb on the vocal, not much just a tad.

    Cold Blues

Nice blues, especially that SG. Personal taste: A bit too much reverb on both the vocal and the drums. Not a deal breaker though.

    Laid Down Low

That was a fun romp Glenn.
  13. Very nice song Keith. Not sure I can get behind the snare sound though.
  14. John, I listened to this the other day and I thought I commented, but obviously not. This is def something different for you. Good job.
  15. Yup have to agree with the Donald Fagan resemblance in the song composition/style. One of your better ones Jack. The abrupt ending was kind of meh for me though.
  16. What a nice change to listen to after three different "metal" mixing sessions over the last two days. Great collab.

  19. The things on my want list from PA have not gone on sale in a looooong time. That is why I went to 4Evah29. I have picked up 2 sale items (I think) since the changeover and one 4Evah29.
  20. BTW for me UJAM is the one of the sloooooowest downloaders in the industry. On par with BFD3 by InMusic. I'm convinced they reroute to a server connected to a 300 baud modem for the actual download,
