So far so good. I'm up to NAS drives mapped, Edge and Chrome setup the way I use them. Dropbox and Acronis installed. Now I'll restore My Documents and Downloads. And that will be it for the night.
Today's project.
Reinstall OS and apps on my 'everyday' computer.
Apparently my SSD drive was going bad. Just about 2 years old Installed 9/20/2020). Only had 9980GB Total Host write. SSDs are supposed to last at least 700TB Host Writes.
Agreed if I went MEGA (A). In three years time* I could own the whole current lot (excluding UAD dupes I already own). Of course, in that time they will release quite a few new ones that I may want and so it goes.
*Actually, two years and 1 day if I pay annually.
Update: Added a second KTR so that one cand be set for clean overdrive and the other for grit overdrive.
Lastly awaiting arrival of an MXR Phase 90 to replace the cheap P90 Pro. It was really cheap and it make an awful audio pop when it's engaged.
When you don't care at all, to be grammatically correct, you should say "I couldn't care less".
What you said is "you could care less" which actually means you are still at some level of caring.
Where's @SteveStrummerUK when we need him?
On a very slim technicality the (OG) Klon KTR is a clone of the Centaur in that it is chip based components (except those darned germanium diodes) rather than thru-hole caps and resistors.
Diehard Klon fanbois say the KTR is no different than an OG Centaur.
I'm also not about to drop a minimum of $5K on any pedal unless it comes with a 24/7 on-call monster guitar player who brings his own beer and pizza.
He counseled me on a parts list based on my budget and needs, I put it together and then he helped me migrate my OS, Samples Drive and Project Drive into the new build. I of course paid him for his time.
