2 tenors and a baritone? Seems like an odd grouping...

This is a wonderful program and at $15 it's truly a deal! It's one of those programs where you just hit the randomize button and you play and play. And then you hit the randomize button again and play again... and then you realize the whole afternoon has gone by. 2 things to be aware of - you really need to have 16GB RAM and do not hit the random button again till the current patches are fully loaded. (The manual warns you about when you should hit the random button.) I had purchased Abstrung a few months ago when it was on a deal, and now having Aerkord is a wonderful compliment to Abstrung's sounds. Highly recommended!

I like Rigid Audio's products - they give you a lot of quality sounds for very little cost. Cinematrix for $4.99 is a lot of fun - it has a lot of interesting sounds in a 4 part engine. And it has a randomize feature (for extra excitement!).

Alter-Ego is a great freebie - just don't expect it to sound like a real person. And NATA is a nice addition to Alter-Ego. These are 2 freebies that should be in the kit of anyone who is looking to add a unique touch to a tune. To put it simply, Alter-Ego lets you assign text to a melody to have it sung. Besides Nata, there are other free voices available. You can use it to playback a melody in a composition or you can jam live and it will play whatever text you have entered. It's easy and it's fun!

I got this when it first came out and I have to say it's wonderful. It's got a quirky personality so if you want a guitar that has a different vibe I can heartily endorse this. They did a fantastic job sampling this instrument - it sounds like I am playing - I can hear the vibrations of the body. It has that acoustic/electric clean sound that I really like. For $9 you cannot go wrong! Get it!
