  1. Not sure if it was an oversight, but after playing with it a bit more, I see that the entire program has basically shifted to the Riffer screen. And the Riffer screen does scale nicely. This new Riffer screen is pretty amazing - they even have a dedicated user manual just for it. I saw a YouTube video where it was compared to the EzKeys interface and I think that's quite a valid comparison. To me, this Riffer screen is basically a brand new program and Ample Sound has totally nailed it. I need to spend a few hours learning all the keyboard shortcuts, but yeah, this is one amazing upgrade.
  2. Great upgrade, but they seemed to have removed the ability to scale the interface so you're forced to deal with a smaller-than-desired interface. Hopefully, it's just an oversight that will be corrected.
  3. How do you do MIDI drag-and-drop export? (I quickly skimmed through the video, so maybe I missed that?)
  4. I bought Rapid Composer a few years ago. I found it was pretty tough to really get a handle on using it, so I haven't touched it in a long time. However, Music Developments (the maker of Rapid Composer) has another product called MIDI Mutator that I find easy to use and is very useful. It simply creates variations of your MIDI so it works great with the MIDI output of programs like EZ Keys, Scaler, etc.
  5. I never installed the stand-alone version. The plug-in version never offered me the update (even after exiting and starting again). So, I logged into my Dreamtonics account and the update was available there.
  6. I checked it out and was not impressed. I guess if you are a newbie struggling with song form, then it might be useful. I would think most folks already know how to assemble/organize the pieces that make a song. And Isn't that much of the fun when making a new tune - working out the intro, the verse, the build up, the chorus, etc.?
  7. This is nowhere even close to the Blue Note sound.
  8. I really love this. They have nailed a variety of styles that you will not find anywhere else! Yep, they are quirky and if you have any interest in musical styles of the 50's and 60's you'll be amused. And it certainly ain't mainstream jazz... just give it a listen - you'll probably love it or hate it.
  9. RipX Daw has become my favorite tool for extracting stems. (I mostly use it to extract vocals.)
  10. Thanks BTP! I guess it makes more sense to spend $42 and get MSoundFactoryLE as that will give me Power Strings and other items.
  11. I'm confused by this offer. If Power Strings is free in both MSoundFactoryLE and MSoundFactory, what is the purpose of buying it for $9? It cannot be used stand-alone, right? It requires a host program? (MSoundFactoryLE or MSoundFactory?) MSoundFactoryLE says that you cannot edit the instruments, so does paying $9 for Power Strings allow you to edit the parameters in the LE program? Can anyone help me with this?
  12. It's a fantastic and fun piece of software! I bought it for $27 and thought I was getting a great deal - at $12 everybody should buy this!
  13. Uh-oh.... This does not sound like the Labs we have gotten in the past which were always free. Here's what the website says: "We have built something special for you. Have your say, get a free trial and discounted early access by joining the waitlist."
  14. Do you need to have a Krotos subscription in order to use that 51GB fundamental library? Or does it work like the starter library which you can use without a subscription?
