Hi Carlos, What I've noticed when using the Axe is I have much more tone control (before using an amp sim) than when using the usual audio interfaces (which are thin sounding). The Axe was "fuller" in tone and once you put it through an amp sim, it was 'almost" like playing through a real amp. So yeah, I'm EXTREMELY happy with it. Of course, there are much better products out there (i.e. Fractal Audio's Axe Fx, Kemper etc..), but at a heavy cost. If I had the money, I'd get the Fractal' Axe FX . I've been playing guitar for about 30 years and still suck at it, but I truly love playing the guitar. Best is to go to a music store and check it out before buying....your ears will be the final judge.

For guitar and bass players, I can highly recommend IK's Axe I/O. I've had it for a few months and extremely pleased with it. It was always a struggle to get a nice 'phat' tone with my Focusrite 2i4 and now, it's a pleasure to play my guitar through the DAW.

Sadly, this is unavailable in "my area" (country)....tried looking it up on YT, and ended listening to Alex Gunia

Really well performed and mixed track here HS. I also agree with Tom's drum suggestion, but doesn't take anything away from this radio ready track....pro quality!!

I was disappointed for some time with their 'no support' on 1st generation devices. This is good news though....now I can use my 2i4 again.

Butt-head is still here though

Lately, I've been spending a lot of time at APD as I've noticed they have a lot of loop based libraries for Kontakt (yes, I'm too lazy in doing my own backing tracks ) which are really made well i.e. Riffendium, Barrage/Tranzform, Synferno etc... Just installed Synferno yesterday, and love it!! Of course, I got them all on a sale price and now I'll have to check this latest offering....huge library it is and haven't used anything from Ueberschall (yet).

If I'm picking up what you're dropping here.......you're saying Waves know how to flash, but PA doesn't?

This looks very interesting Tom and this is the first time I've seen this . Could you please give some details on how you use it (with the N4 or N4 player)? I got very interested after reading about the "all-tube guitar amplifier" part and wondered how it all works out when using it on a guitar. -
It's thirsty Thursday, It's Beer O'clock somewhere, and I'm here twerking it. (live feed requires a subscription)

So far ahead of his time. Listening through headphones you can truly appreciate all the little things that are going on.

If you drink enough of red wine, then it actually sounds like all of them put together.

Beautiful stuff....Oscar Peterson!!!

Not sure about their drums, but their amps are definitely worth more than the $5 I paid (and they're not just for metal).

I do like my new ATH-M50X and also wear glasses, but it hasn't bothered me except for needing a fan to be on (gets a bit warm for longer wear. I really miss using my Ultrasone Pro 750's and I'm going to see if they can be repaired. Not sure if I can justify the price to get my ATH's calibrated.....maybe on a better set of cans (someday).

It's definitely AM over here....coffee anyone?
