We’re talking about a crossgrade offer, which is pretty usual. This one has probably the best price, so maybe we should appreciate the efforts to make it more affordable.

This is nonsense to offer a crossgrade to users of a free DAW. Otherwise, would be pointless to other DAW users, and also to regular Studio One users that would have to pay more than crossgrade from a free DAW.

I tried getting Soniccouture Xtended piano for 49$ (already in deep sale) and Forest Kingdom 3 upgrade for 99$, but the total is 148$, so one dollar short to apply the discount. I wrote to their support, hopefully they can do something about it.

When you buy a digital licence, used or not, it's always brand new to use. CD and books can wear after some time.

Usually, as far as I know, grace period is good when getting a 0.5 update and wait for the next full version release to get that one free. That’s what I’m doing since a couple of versions. I’m not sure if all the other examples in this thread will also work.

Bought it cheaper at Audiodeluxe, plus Deluxe bucks. I used some I already had, cost me 23$.

I guess it’s their way of marketing perpetual 29$ sales for all their plugins. Otherwise, without WUP, they would probably raise the sales prices. Can’t have it all it seems.

I watched the walkthrough and I’m listening to the demos. It’s really high quality and a ton of stuff for a great price. Since I bought recently Jade Ethnic Orchestra and Silk, I will most likely wait on the next sale of upgrades to KU14CE when it’s available. Already Action Strings 2 and this one will surely make for an interesting upgrade, still this one remains very tempting now.

It’s interesting to WUP if you’re going to use the voucher to buy something else. That way, WUP can basically cost nothing, because that money can be used on other products after WUP.

I have Faderport 8 and Console 1 to go with Studio One 5. Can’t get better than this.

I started singing regularly for the first time in my life since beginning of last year, through the Smule app with singers from all around the world. My singing has improved a lot, but I’m singing a lot since then. No miracles, it takes practice, and with a vocal coach to help you correct your singing mistakes, you’ll improve more quickly.
