What's gonna happen to v1 license and installation after this upgrade? Will it still be available?

IMO, Studio version is a huge time saver when you often mix multitracks and the performers are notorious for bad timing and being out of tune. With good performers even Essential gets little to no use. Just saying.

SSD5.5 is a lot easier to use then previous versions. Sounds better, too. Kits load very fast, no complicated MIDI (re-)mapping required if you want to enhance a kit piece by adding another one on top if it. The plugin keeps the last loaded kit/kitpiece highlighted should you need to re-open the GUI. Grooves are now nicely organized by song parts and other attributes. And the icing on the cake is the 'Mono to Mono, Stereo to Stereo' routing preset, which is a godsend if you like to process kit pieces individually. Like it so far.

Same here. Instant buy. Not sure if I really need this or will prefer it against SD3, AD2, EZD2, Strike or even Session Drummer 3. But it's good to have Slate's samples at hand.

I think you nailed the tone with BM pack. This one, to my ears, sounds better than the real thing.

Not quite. Max includes Engl, Soldano, Jet City, Wampler, and then some.

Considering how long they've been working on the Satriani bundle, it might as well be Amplitube 5.

Starting at 1:14. The true sound of the plugin.  Not really impressive.

I should've mentioned, I have un- and re-installed all AAS plugins prior to reporting this issue. No cigar.

I believe, you installed the latest version, too. If not, please let me know, I'll try older versions.

I just checked AAS guitars in CbB, Reaper and SOP. They open and play fine in both Reaper and SOP, but there is no GUI nor sound in CbB. It happens only with AAS Strum GS-2 and Session and only in Cakewalk. Anyone encountered this already?

I run W8.1x64 on Intel i7 Kaby Lake, RAM 16GB.

UPD. There is also a severe memory leak, when GS-2 is loaded within Cakewalk.

I wanted this amp some time ago and used to cruise kvr for it but then forgot about it. Guys would sometimes sell it on there for $10 or so and usually it'd get snatched up quick. 

One trick pony kind of amp, but if it's good enough for Michael Lee Firkins,  it's a must have.

The installer program wants me to delete the previous version. I'm not willing to sacrifice the working setup for a version that requires going through the hoops of deleting an ilok product.
