I've been playing around with it and frankly I'm a bit underwhelmed. I agree with Glyn that is does sound digital. I suspect it is the quality of the factory presets and applied effects but haven't had a chance to play with making sounds yet. But I just didn't get that 'wow' that I got when I first played a D50 or FM8. We're also in 2019 and expectations are higher. There are a few presets I really like though. I'm not sure I like the Best of bank much at all. I'm sure it can be pushed to sound much better. I'm surprised there aren't more and better sounds when it ships.

Be careful. Much higher prices at EveryPlugin at the moment. A set of three plugins I tried that was $95 after the code at EveryPlugin was $74 at Waves direct (Bass Fingers, Abbey Road Vinyl and SSL G-Master Buss Compressor).

I've got a CZ-5000 under a bed. Was a wonderful synth which would have sold in even greater numbers if it had had a Roland or Yamaha badge. I too will buy Virtual CZ which, for me, is the highlight of this sale.

This release appears to have had a very significant positive effect on my DAW and general performance, with the implementation of Retpoline, which undoes the performance damage from Spectre mitigation. It is astonishing it has taken Microsoft so long. All the rest is mainly fluff in comparison with the speed increase, although it is unbelievable that they allowed a bug through testing that means that, if you click on Apps shortly after switching the machine on, Settings crashes. You can download the fix or wait for it to be deployed in the next few days. Sandbox is useful though. If you want 1903 now, just download the update assistant tool. I am seeing much better DAW performance.

I had similar to this. Skipped/closed the scan, closed S1 4.5, ran it again and all was well.

I really like Gospel Musicians but the attention to detail seems rather lacking when it comes to punctuation and grammar. 1. Onerous; 2. There are more; 3. Out there; 4. Ear for; 5. Are supposed; 6. Five years; 7. Diligently. Have I missed any?

I really like this but it is way too expensive. Needs to be discounted by at least 50 per cent to sell in any kind of volume. Even then I'd hesitate. And I've got GBs of drum samples. XLN should have offered this to existing customers with a substantial introductory discount to establish a user base and give XLN's customers something to buy after too long a wait for new products and updates. But what would I know?
