Ah yes I believe the chip itself is available, just not in that particular part picker. Shows my level of expertise. Anyway, a similar setup but with a 12 gen (and diffirent mobo etc) should work then?
-
Thanks for the heads-up. I don't think the 12th gen is available at this moment. But maybe soon. They aren't even that much more expensive I see. And rest of the setup? Would it work? No bottlenecks?

I want to upgrade, keep my old PC as a sort of media centre / everyday worksation and buy a new PC. I can pick the parts and some company will assemble everything. They have a pretty nice PC builder page where you can't really mess it up (https://www.alternate.nl/Pc-builder#!/components). Now I have no clue as to what goes well together or that there will be potential problems. So here is my pick. I'm building a pretty futureproof system I think. It will be used for music production and some slight video editting. Regarding the videocard, I'm just getting what is possible. I don't need a 3090, so anything decent in the 100-200 price range is fine. Nothing fancy. So here it is, some advice will be highly appreciated. Or just confirmation that this will work. Intel® Core i9-11900K, 3,5 GHz (5,3 GHz Turbo Boost) socket 1200 processor € 529,00 GIGABYTE AORUS Z590 ELITE AX, socket 1200 moederbord € 179,00 Noctua NH-D15 cpu-koeler € 99,90 Kingston FURY 64 GB DDR4-3200 Kit werkgeheugen € 269,00 GIGABYTE GeForce GT 1030 Low Profile D4 2G grafische kaart € 104,90 // Or whatever is possible which won't cost the same as my processor. SAMSUNG 980 PRO, 2 TB SSD € 239,00 // Main Windows/VST drive. I know it is better to keep Windows seperate, but I'm not that 'technical'. I will definitely mess that up. SAMSUNG 870 QVO, 4 TB SSD € 249,00 // Sample library data drive Seagate Exos X16 16 TB Harde schijf € 299,00 // Overall data storage Fractal Design Define R6 tower-behuizing € 139,90 Fractal Design Ion Gold 850W voeding € 84,90 Microsoft Windows 11 Pro software € 139,00 Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM case fan € 29,99 Totaal € 2.362,59

On the duplicate stuff, I have that a lot ?. I will buy something thinking "well there is that more expensive plugin which does roughly the same but just a bit better, I won't buy that one but this cheaper one". And 6 months later the more expensive thing is on sale, I buy it and regret buying the first thing.

Mellow is also featured in the Chillhop bundle which is €100 at Audiodeluxe (and you get deluxebucks).

Mathew Lane Full Bundle: DrMS | StereoDelta | TiCo

Hmm, was hoping for a sale on Dr MS alone. I don't want the full bundle. -
https://oeksound.com/plugins/soothe2/ soothe2 a dynamic resonance suppressor €199 €139 (upgrade for €50 €39)

Yup, got a wishlist of 3 plugins I want. All are exceptions. So I'm not biting.
-
Well screw you Spitfire, this thing sounds awesome. I don't need it I don't need it I don't need it....
-
Do you think the freebie will be reset before the end of the week? I already got Parallel Aggressor.
-
And for people interested in Abyss, check out: https://www.thesoundgardxn.com/home Excellent soundset for Abyss and now 30% off. This thing actually put Abyss on my wishlist.
-
Yes, that's another one off my BF wishlist. Edit: Abyss that is.

Just found out that the FALL21 code on Audiodeluxe is still valid. So that will just about even the price with JRR and give you some deluxe bux.
-
Well, If I'm not mistaken they didn't do a wishlist sale last year. So jokes on them. On the point, I did have a random Spitfire product on my BF list depending on the usefulness of the free product. But the only thing I really want and don't already have is that Hainbach thing for 39. So I might just pass up this years sale.

Thanks, was looking for this info. This will save me some money (since XO is more expensive, even on sale). I don't need the extra samples from XO, I got more than I could ever be bothered to listen to.
-
So i bought the V collection because it was on my wishlist. I thought I didn't need the FX collection (als because I got most IK items in the group buy). Buuuuttttt, now they make it €69 to upgrade. Since I dropped a product from my Black Friday wishlist for around that price, I think I HAVE to do it. 20 new (for me) products is € 3,45 a piece. I will wait however, as there are always other unforseen deals and it seems a lot of these are duplicates of plugins I already own and don't use that much.
-
Does anyone know how this compares to XLN XO? It seems to have a similar thing going on, but this one is cheaper.
-
I kinda keep track of prices sometimes, and hardware sales are tricky I find, because the 'from' prices seem to fluctuate a lot. Now granted, the Poly-D, Neutron and Pro-1 are discounted and a lot cheaper at SW. But the Crave is supposed to be discounted but still cheaper not-discounted at Thomann. The TD-3 fluctuates heavily in price that it's impossible to determine what the sale price is. Although 89 seems pretty good.

If they were to replace that insanely big center dial in their plugin interfaces with a gif of Homay Schmitz noodling away at the piano, I would buy every single one of their products.
-
Use code GROOVE3 on their own website https://www.eventideaudio.com/plug-ins/spliteq/ and you get an additional 25% which makes it $74,25. I'm seriously on the fence about this one. I read and see that it is briljant and a must have. But it would be EQ number 36 and not a cheap one at that. So is it $75 more briljant than Fabfilter, Sonible or SSL?

I don't know if there is any difference between the UK Bax and the Dutch Bax. But I bought software from them some time ago (I believe it was the Rob Papen bundle), I THOUGTH that they weren't delevering, but the serials were on the "pakbon" (packaging slip?) which I got from them minutes after ordering.
