  1. 2, a new version of the Triple Path Analog Chorus plug-in. The new version comes with several new features and sonic improvements to provide bigger sound, adding versatility and to expand compatibility. What's new: Third delay line. New per line features: Multimode filter. Panning. 3 Independent LFO generators that can work with delay lines in several different configurations, each LFO added with: Independent phase shift controls for left and right channels with link option. Amplitude control with invert option. Tag-based preset browser. Three GUI scaling options. MIDI-learn functionality throughout. AAX Plugin format. Price and release date will be revealed later. Introductory and upgrade offers will be delivered later on via email to registered Syntorus 1 users. Overview Syntorus 2 is described as a Triple Path Analog Chorus and designed to provide a rich analogue sounding chorus, similar to the effect found on classic synthesizers like the Solina, Synthex or Juno. Analogue Delay Line The delay line module is the most important part of any chorus unit. To give Syntorus its character, D16 implemented a precise model of a high-quality analogue delay line and projected this into the digital domain. The plugin also gives you a choice of two BBD delay line models: by default, the chorus features "ideal" BBD modelling, but activating Analog BBD Emulation adds extra analog character to the signal. Three delay lines Most chorus effect units use just a single delay, but Syntorus features three analog delay lines to provide richer sound. Configurable modulation Syntorus' three LFO generators serve as modulation sources, routed to the delay lines in a number of switchable topologies. Filter and tremolo Each delay line has a multimode filter and a tremolo effect built in, both governed by the same modulation sources as the delay time. It allows to make convincing Leslie sounds, especially when delay modulation is used to simulate the directional characteristic and Doppler effect of a rotating speaker. The tremolo can be employed on its own or added to the modulated delay line for creating even more dynamic sounds. Complete synchronization Each LFO can be independently synchronized to the host DAW, enabling the rate to be set in musical note values at project tempo. Additionally the phase is also perfectly synchronized to the playhead position within a music project, ensuring that chorus always sounds exactly as it should at any point on the timeline. Features: High-quality analog BBD delay line emulation. 3 delay lines, each one featuring: Multimode filter. Tremolo effect. Panning. 3 LFO generators, each one featuring: 6 waveforms. Timeline-locked tempo sync. Independent phase shift controls for left and right channels with link option. Amplitude control with invert option. 3 LFO-to-delay-line routing configurations. 64-bit internal processing. Tag-based preset browser. Three GUI scaling options. MIDI-learn functionality throughout. http://d16.pl/syntorus2
  2. Bring new lush atmospheric dimensions to your productions with Phoenix, a sound design VST/AU synth This instrument is based on a set of smooth synthetic strings and choir samples. These can be used to create wide strings backdrops and ethereal choirs instantly. Phoenix takes these sounds to the next level with the sample-based synthesis engine that powers it, Mirage. With it, you can process the instruments in three separate audio layers, with envelopes, LFOs, filters, and a whole rack of effects. The result is a sound design tool perfect for creating cinematic pads, keys and basses, and for easy underscoring. Examples of such sounds are included in the 80 production-ready presets that come with the product. These are broken into five categories: basses, keys, leads, pads and sound effects. See and hear Phoenix presets in action in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7pN7tyu9oA Get Phoenix Now - Only $35 Already Own Phoenix for Kontakt? If you've already bought Phoenix for Kontakt on frozenplain.com, you can pick up Phoenix for Mirage for only $5. Log into your account on frozenplain.com and visit the Phoenix: Mirage page to see the price change to $5. This product was initially created for Kontakt and has now been moved to Mirage. This new version of Phoenix is a reinterpretation of the old samples. We believe this new version is slightly better for rapid sound design and for ease-of-use. What is different about the Mirage version? The core sound is essentially the same except for the following two changes: the tuning of one of the instruments has been improved, and all samples have been trimmed of unnecessary length. The Kontakt version and the Mirage version are powered by different engines with different architectures; however, the features of each are roughly comparable. Why might you want to purchase the new version? If you own the Kontakt version, you might consider purchasing this new version if you would like to access the Phoenix sounds in Mirage, a new engine that will continue to grow and improve. Mirage is excellent for rapid sound design and ease-of-use. It is also a consistent interface that is used by other FrozenPlain products. You might also consider the new version if you would like access to the 80 brand new presets. These presets are production-ready. They demonstrate the capabilities of Phoenix are an accessible gateway to mastering your own sound design using this tool. More sounds to come This is the first Kontakt library that we moved to our new engine and we intend to move over others too. Mirage has great potential for sound design and ease-of-use. We think it can be a brilliant host for many of our existing Kontakt-only libraries. Which library would you like to see ported next? We are by no means just rereleasing old products though. New sounds on are the way!

  9. No I wasn't trying to bounce down using it. I know far better than that. I wanted to use it as a reference. I did my mix, listened through monitors and headphones, and then wanted to listen in ARS3. I listened, and all was fine. I removed the plugin. Then tried to bounce down and that's when everything went haywire. ARS3 is supposed to be like "listening to your mix in Abbey Road Studio 3". That's what it's purpose is.
  10. I will definitely donate a Euro...just the time he's spent developing it is worth that, so, even if it just gathers virtual dust, it's worth it IMO, just to support him in his efforts
  11. I haven't used it since Christian...it scares me too much...LOL I guess I need to pull up a project, save it under a new name, and then try to work out the issue.
