I've always had Pro...and never had an update issue until this 2004 update...

I did that...cleaned the registry....cleaned out all the junk files...etc...that was right before the 5th time trying to update...no luck...I have no idea at this point what could be causing it.?

There are certainly no "real" advantages to Acid Pro over CbB...it's more scaled down... so it you're after a quick mix or edit, it can be handy...otherwise there's really no advantage, just a different way of doing the same thing basically.
