It's a decent Tape sim, and if you use Studio One, being a Mix FX, is a major BONUS. So far, my favorite Tape Sim is the IK 24...it can really add some panache. Last sale it was $49...so this one is $10 cheaper, and the lowest it's been offered for...

That may be due to the price of the Axe I/O dropping to $299.99...that's the price here in the States right now, but they probably haven't changed the Price in Europe, but are still only allowing for Jampoints for the $299 price... I'm just speculating...but the math works out...

Neglected to mention, the Pre's are CLEAN, and the adjustments are nice. The variable Z-Tone is BONUS! Being able to select Active or Passive pickups is a very nice feature! Not fond of the Plastic Sides...but they're pretty Heavy Duty, so it's ok. Will play some more later...have to go visit my Brother in Rehab for a bit...but initial impressions are favorable!

After installing the driver software, the firmware updater stated that Firmware Version 1.02 was installed and 1.04 was available. Update was simple. After that, everything is great! I'll need a little more time to make a good evaluation, but initial impressions just on a few Amps is NICE!
