Cluster Sound has released KB-800, a synth/drum/fx collection based on the vintage JVC KB-800, a sophisticated polyphonic preset-based synthesizer with PCM drums and auto-accompaniment, designed for Synth Pop, Italo Disco and Electro. Here's what they say: Released in the early 80's, the JVC KB-800 is an interesting mix of analog and digital circuitry. Yes it's compatible with CbB....it comes in VST, VST3, and AAX formats As a beginner you should know these plugin format acronyms VST = Virtual Studio Technology - used for Windows based DAW Plugins (Cakewalk, Studio One, Cubase, etc...) VST3 is the lastest version of the VST format, and the same applies for it as for VST - (Note: Some DAW's may not be VST3 compliant yet) AAX is the current proprietary plugin format used by Pro Tools AU = Audio Units - also a Pro Tools format RTAS = Real Time Audio Suite = Also an old Pro Tools Format LV2 = A format used by Harrison Mixbus Hope that helps
