You'd be surprised at how many "Non-pros" use Cubase....far more than you think....
-
I own it all too...so I'll be paying $125 purely for the Total Studio Max "designation", which is COMPLETELY INSANE... but so am I so...whatever. The ONLY benefit is "going forward" for getting the Max to Max price when the new ones come out...have I mentioned how much I hate IK's business model? (YES...REPEATEDLY)

That's a good deal...but I can't even afford the $125...but I don't think it's going to get any cheaper than this... Most likely TS3 is on the horizon!

It says that they consider it "Cream's little sister" In other words, we believe this new suite can be considered the 'younger sister' of our acclaimed CREAM suite.

I'll be in...this stuff is killing me...I just bought Taupe with MORE than all of my money... So when the check comes in on the 30th, or if I sell some stuff from my KVR Thread, I'll buy it. I've been waiting, and it REALLY TICKS ME OFF that I have to pay to get the TSM designation when I already own most of this...I have enough Jampoints to make it $125 for the Crossgrade, so I'll do it. ?

Looks like they "oopsed" in their copying and editing of the Jade Channel info for the Coffee channel: Each plug-in included in the Jade suite comes in a “Standard” version and an alternative “ZL*” version which operates at *zero latency and is thus suitable for use when tracking, at the cost of extra processing resources. For further details consult the Coffee user's manual in the Overview section.

Most believe that, because Pro Tool is the supposed be the "Industry Standard"...but as you said, in Europe Cubase has a MUCH larger install base than Pro Tools, and here in the states just about EVERY Studio has BOTH, which gives Cubase the edge in "Pro" installations...and yes, the info is hard to find. I did an in depth study on this a few years back and found Cubase had the larger base. Again, that was a few years ago, and I'm sure, based on just "Features" that probably hasn't changed....
