Copying Tempo Changes & deleting time/measures (bars)
Steve Ennever replied to Steve Ennever's question in Q&A
Hi, I tried this but the location for the tempo (slow down) was not registered in the list. Therefore there was nothing to copy. The simple tempo changes I had inserted were there in the list. But not the more complicated tempo 'slow down.' Any thoughts? Steve E -
Copying Tempo Changes & deleting time/measures (bars)
Steve Ennever replied to Steve Ennever's question in Q&A
Hi, it was copy/pasting 'tempo changes' ie: slowing down, speeding up, that I was referring to. Not different tempos. Steve E -
Copying Tempo Changes & deleting time/measures (bars)
Steve Ennever replied to Steve Ennever's question in Q&A
Hi, I'm referring to deleting a time/measure for the whole project, not an individual track. You can insert them - but apparently not delete them. Steve. -
Would I be correct in assuming that Cakewalk does not copy & paste tempo changes now? Also it does not appear to delete time/measures. You can insert them to your hearts delight. But not delete them? I seem to remember it used to. Am I missing something? Steve E

Want to load my old version of Sonar 8.5 (64bit) - attempting access plugins, well one plugin in particular - the vintage channel (VC64). However, the loading process is not accepting my serial number. There's a possibility my email address has changed since I purchased it. Anyway, is anyone aware of a way to combat this problem? Thank you... Steve E

MIDI Control Of Soundtoys 'Little Alter Boy' in Cakewalk
Steve Ennever replied to Steve Ennever's question in Q&A
Here's the current one https://support.soundtoys.com/article/90-midi-control pertaining to specific DAWs, not relating Cakewalk obviously - thus my question here. I'd already checked this out. And someone else had already given this link earlier in this thread. Quite easy to find. Anyway, it does indeed look like Cakewalk is limited in this area. -

If it's Cakewalk then yes, I fear as much. -

MIDI Control Of Soundtoys 'Little Alter Boy' in Cakewalk
Steve Ennever replied to Steve Ennever's question in Q&A
Been there & no, it doesn't. Cakewalk midi simply doesn't recognise Soundtoys LAB exists. -
Does anyone know how to access the midi control of Soundtoys Little Alter Boy? It doesn't register on mine. Indeed, is it possible on Cakewalk? Thanx... Steve E X

I didn't think of that. It appears to have been the plugin demo - but if it is not... I'll look it to that. Thanks. Steve E

Yes, I've just started Demoing a plugin on UAD Spark for the first time. Thanks Steve E

Yes, this was my first though. So these were the first things I checked. Alas to no avail.

I have one plug-in in Demo mode which I believe could have started around the time this irritating random glitch manifested itself - so that is indeed the likely culprit. I've never Demo-ed a plug-in with the UAD Spark system before so this could account for not experiencing the problem before. Fingers crossed. Thanks. Steve E

Hi, Seem to have developed a random audio drop out & can't for the life of me work out where from. The audio will just suddenly stop for less than a second. Never in the same place. It doesn't happen often & it's not CPU, buffer or AD/DA induced as the material doesn't have to be taxing the PC for it to occur. Nor is it mechanical - speaker cables/amp etc. I've been using this particular system for 5 years - 8 core intel - 32 ram - Windows 10 - RME Fireface UC - and it's been fine until recently. Has anyone else suffered this. Is there a work around? Thanks... Steve E

Hi, I have a project with 38 tracks. Most are used intermittently. CPU 13% Memory 16%. Disk use 1%. Just recently (past 3 weeks) if you've been listening to the song & just pressed stop, then left click a command (like a cut or just click on the edit box) there's an approximate 1 sec delay before the program reacts. Needless to say, that's incredibly infuriating. I ran some tests with other projects & yes, the more tracks, the longer the delay - but the amount of VST's etc did not seem to matter. The only changes that have occurred over the past few weeks that I can think of are an upgrade from Cakewalk & from Microsoft. Has anyone else noticed this, or come across anything similar? PC's an Intel 8 core, 32 Gig RAM, SDD Drives & an RME UC. Best Steve E

This pop-up error message appeared yesterday for one (and only one) of my UAD plugins. Whether already being used in a track or in an attempt to add - as in the image I've provided. I re-scanned my VST's in the plugin manager and it no only recognizes the mono guitar amp - which you still can't load. I loaded Audacity & it reads both the UAD programs (mono/stereo) & loads them. I subsequently uninstalled everything UAD & re-loaded. Problem still persists. Any thought, guys? Steve E P.S. The only thing I was doing yesterday prior to this problem occurring was trying out some free plugins - Gsat I kept, others I uninstalled. Spitfire Strings. GsatPlus Burier

Unable to write automation using Softube Console1 and Console fadeF
Steve Ennever replied to Mr Matthew Gough's question in Q&A
I'm thinking of buying Softube's Console 1 Mk 2. Have you encountered any incapability problems with it? Thanks
