  1. Hey! I used a tedious way of recording for years...by having a couple of tracks, recording take 1 in track 2, then take 2 in track 2, take 3 in track 3 etc. ...which required a lot of clicks (selecting new tracks, starting the playback, stopping the playback etc.). I just stumbled upon take recording because I had a section played in a loop and recorded everything in one track...multiple takes were recorded, but they are always grayed out, even if they are there with data. How can I unmute them?
  2. Thank you! So this feature is available for Cakewalk by Bandlab too and I don't need to get the upcoming Sonar version?
  3. Hello! I use VSL Special Edition. Slower parts are ok and are played back well, but some orchestral parts at 200 BPM (metal with strings etc.) does not work. I use programmed drums so everything is on the beat... When searching for offsets, Google tells you to enter those in your DAW...but where is this in Cakewalk? I found a thread that it will be implemented or already was? But where is it? Or will it only be in the Cakewalk Sonar version and NOT in Cakewalk by Bandlab? I bought Cakewalk Sonar Professional years ago...for 199€ I think...will I be able to transfer the license as I am not "just another" free Bandlab by Cakewalk user? My main question is is this offset is already in Cakewalk by Bandlab or will be added or will only be in Cakewalk Sonar at a later point? Thanks!
  4. Hi! Just bought EZ Bass and two EBX...Metal and Progressive Metal. When using it with my DAW, the default EZ Bass works with DI and some presets, but others reset to 9% volume when playing back my midi or changing presets during playback. I also had this problem in trial mode and thought some presets are very low on purpose because you should not be able to use all of them in trial mode. When selecting Metal DI and Progressive Metal DI, the volume is set to 9% all the time I start my midi or jump around in the midi...loading some of the Metal, EZ Bass Default or Progressive Metal presets works and those play at 100% volume, but when I change back to certain presets, the volume is set to 9% again...and it is annoying. How can I fix that? Here's a private video. When starting the midi, the volume is average. When loading the instrument again, the volume is 100%...when loading Funk King, it is very low...automations are off by the way. It is just a midi file with 122 velocity. :( https://youtu.be/NbwFXBWuGhg?t=79 Ok, found out OBS did not record my DAW's audio...so please use the time stamp (1:16)...even if there is no audio, you will see the volume knob jump back to 9%. Did some more testing and it only happens when playing back a midi in the DAW. Loading the midi within EZ Bass works....but yet it should work with regular midi mode too... Any ideas?
  5. Hey! Let's assume I have a vocal sample in track 3 and would like to move it to track 2, but to the exact position/time it has in track 3. How do you do that? Normally, I draw a frame around the clips I want to move, then drag and drop them with a careful gesture just to move the mouse upwards and not sidewards...same for midi editing...sometimes it works, but sometimes it changes time to -x or +y...if the change is -x and I change the position of the mouse slightly, it becomes +x...and I never get to the point of only changing the track/moving upwards or downwards...but the time/position is always changed too...so the vocals become out of sync.
  6. Hello! I bought Sonar Professional from Thomann some years ago. Now I want to install everything again, but the Cakewalk Access software does not work anymore. Do I only have to download the Bandlab installer? What about my product key? I got some plugins and extras to install with Cakewalk Access. How can I install them now?
