I wondered about the move to M4 and if you guys are using it. Also NI with this format .. I have been using Win in all it's formats to Win11pro for so many years, but lately I'm feeling it's future may be an awful lot more than I want to allow them to use .. in terms of privacy .... I have to agree with syce1 ... I invariably always listen to the last mix in these cases and for my money I'm hearing a great idea. I think my only crit would be your over use the female vox plug .. I find that overall the message ( lyrics ) is a though provoking one. ( You should listen to Nigel's advice ... he's portfolio tells it all ) I very often never comment on so called instrumentals, as these days it's far to easy to push a key on a chosen plug ..then another and so on but this I feel warrants a 7/10 ...For what it's worth I like it loads ... just work away from it a bit and come back a few months later .. see if all these comments help SupaReels_Music

Hi Kev, Well, firstly and most importantly I hope you knock those curve balls out the park ! You have a really good song here and those lyrics get you thinking, and that's a good thing .. you know I have a few favs here on CW and your up there with the best singer songwriters, so good to her your voice and range .. and that's my problem. IMO they're just to low in the mix. I feel they could be just more predominant so as to make the work more aggressive .. which I feel you wanted from the listener .. Hmm don't know, .. just my feeling 🤪. The chops are great, the guitar/ drums etc, are great but I wanna hear more of you in the mix .. easy done I feel but I'm the only one hearing this so it's just my opinion ... 10/10 ! The atmosphere in this track is spot on, well done M8. The counter vocals have a real feel and the mix is the best I've heard from DL ,, godda say this really suits Grants vocal ..so good ! You forgot the lyrics (TutTut) .... but hay-ho. Steve (SRM)

The one I use is a plug, the hard version was hard to justify for my studio. The website has a trial for this although there are many ...so many ways to achieve a solid mix. $300, although reasonable, is still a hefty price when used a few times in a mix .. just sayin' is all ATB Steve
