Cakewalk A-300 What are some things to try to get Rotary Knob 9 (or any hardware) to Midi Learn ? following this tutorial: MIDI LEARN Remote Control> "LEARN" and turning anything on the A-300 is not working. Even if the Effect Bal Wet Rot. is turned, it's not actually linked the the Absynth "WET" rot.

[ SOLVED ] PRV - Left Click Play all stacked notes?
sadicus replied to sadicus's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
good tutorial -
This feature request would be great to match any VST that uses Key switch or custom Key map settings. 1) PRV Multiple Custom Color Key Overlay and ability to change Each Key Color and Text. displayed over the Key Also 2) a toggle all note names off/on displayed on the Keys at all times, not just on Mouse over. ability to change the Key Color and Text. mouse Over? ...is their a better term than "mouse" in 2023? lol What do the kids call it these days? Mouse LC = Mouse Left Click MRC = Mouse Right Click MMC =

I got the Babylon Waves Articulation maps for Cakewalk, but I don't see the older 'Vienna Instrument Pro" Just checking if anyone here already has AM's for it. It could be that the New Synchron Maps will work?

[ SOLVED ] PRV - Left Click Play all stacked notes?
sadicus replied to sadicus's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Thanks, that's it! is there a way to increase the click speed? Turning off the snap/grid didn't increase the speed at which the notes can be clicked in rapid succession. -
What's the trick to play a set of stacked notes or (chords) and have them sound at the same time? so far only way is to first select the notes then Left Click and they will all sound at the same time. How to do that without having to select the notes first. Just mouse over any stacked note, Left Click and hear it?

@Lord Timdelete the Track containing the frozen clip. I don't need the MIDI or Audio anymore. "Either way should work. Try it. You can always Ctrl+Z if the results aren't good." Had a few times where deleting a Frozen Synth destroyed the project ctrl Z did not save the day. Hence the post. just backup the project if in doubt, but is sounds like it's not a problem anymore. ~ Thanks!

Might be a feature or a Bug. KEY: Lc Mc Rc (Left, Middle, Right, mouse CLICK) In Piano Roll view, (the lower screen to edit Velocity, Wheel, etc.) PRV Controller lanes "Wheel" 1) Mc--> select Draw Tool "Sine" Trying to draw a sine wave pattern not working and Mc (Middle Click ) does not re-open tool options. 2) To open the right click menu again, Tool Options: Must Mc in the Piano Roll View to work again. The only Draw Tool that worked was "Freehand" and Line" I was trying to draw a sine wave pattern in the "Wheel" Controller Data.

on PLAY the Piano track makes a terrible out of tune 'wobble' sound. The Event List shows "WHEEL" this was not intentional, and the MOD WHEEL was not used, yet here we are. Why doesn't the wheel data display on the Track Lane? I was hoping to see a visual of this monstrosity. Is there a way to get the Wheel data to display in the Trak view? UPDATE: In Piano roll view the PRV "WHEEL" Control Data is visible it's also showing up 5 times. The Track View is not Displaying the recorded Wheel data.

When Deleting a Track (like KONTAKTv2) that has been Synth Rack 'frozen' from a project Is it better to : un-freeze then delete or Deleting a frozen synth will not ruin a project?

Many of these old projects were the equivalent of when you get an idea and press record on Ye Olde Tape machine. They are not songs yet but ideas that had no meaningful name. I thought "Godin E Aura Delay QT 05" had meaning at the time lol ...yeah so what i use to call "MASTER" was actually tracking. ~ Thanks ~ this gives me a much better way to start organizing new projects. Now, Any time a project is open I export out whatever is in it as a WAV with the exact file name for easy reference then convert it to MP3.

I'm currently trying to organize some newer and some 10 year old projects (most never completed) so most is just audio to a click track. Projects use to be tracked, mix then export all from the same file. What are some better ways to Organize projects and name them? A few examples of the current file name hellscape : 007 Drop C classical Guitar MASTER cwp 007 Drop C classical Guitar PARTS cwp 062407 Guitar Drop D Gtr Spanish pick 01 cwp

Good Compressor for Classical Guitar (Nylon Strings)
sadicus replied to sadicus's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
...i'm subscribed to your channel but some how over looked the compressor videos, thanks! -
What are some good Compressors and settings for Classical Guitar? Trying the default Compressor PC76 U Type works pretty good, just wondering if there are some better options.

Many older projects have a KONTAKT version that is no longer installed. is there any way to figure out what samples were once loaded and being used in the project? There are no descriptions in the "Notes" to say what instrument was loaded.

Is there a CAL script to move successive or notes stacked on top of each other 1) up, down 2) chromatic up/down?

I want a Drum Tempo to match an already recorded Guitar track. When Drag/Drop to the timeline select "Automatic" How to have the tempo map start at a different measure than 1? Example The beat of the the guitar starts at measure 4 but there are riffs and noise in the first My thought is to just cut off the first part and bounce it to a new track.

This has been bugging me for a while, How to associate "cwp" as a Cakewalk file not a "Clip Studio store Export" file? "cwb" files have the correct association. "Cakewalk Bundle File" I realize these projects are old, but it also does this with the new saved projects. win 10 (all x64)

@David Baay Thanks! for the That worked, i was looking for the word "dual-mono" @reginaldStjohnThanks! for the clarification

What are some other ways (besides the obvious track view) to determine if an Audio File is Stereo? Sometimes just looking at the file it's difficult to tell if there is actually a difference between L/R besides volume. In this example, The track was recorded "stereo" but probably only needed to be mono. Just looking at the wave file in track view, the squiggle lines (amplitude) "look" the same. 1) is a stereo file considered to be stereo if the only difference is volume between Left / Right?

Both Projects do have audio, so Audiosnap in Autostretch mode in Project 1 (150bpm) worked perfectly ~ Thanks!
