  1. Cheaper at Best Service (at least in dollars): https://www.bestservice.com/en/deals/toontrack_weekend_deal_up_to_60_off_4943.html
  2. I couldn't find any way to demo Avenger, so that made it a no go. Is there a demo?
  3. Just used this to get Gforce Software's OB-E for $99 (actually, $92 because I had some best coin). You can also get Avenger for that price with the coupon, if you're interested. That's even lower than the half off sale a few weeks ago.

    WUP is back

Can we have a separate Waves forum for all thre threads? ?
  5. That's correct. Here's a Music Radar review: https://www.musicradar.com/reviews/focusrite-fast-series-plugins

    Nectar 3 Plus

At least in the US, shops do not have to honor an advertised price, particularly when it's clear it was a mistake. https://smallbusiness.chron.com/company-advertising-price-wrong-responsible-mistake-73117.html
  7. Anyone have the Pedal Steel? Is it as playable as they make it seem? (Btw, the Mountain Dulcimer is AMAZING. If you're pretty good on keys, you can get some very convincing sounds out of it. Of course, I'm from and live in the southeastern US so I might have more interest in it than most.) EDIT: I'm a dolt. Mountain Dulcimer is by Embertone...not ISW. It's stil a good instrument.
  8. This really is an important point. I love Rayzoon's Jamstix, but it is very, very strange that it's been nearly a year since Ralph has posted on the Jamstix forum. He used to be very active on the boards there. It's strange.
  9. Among this group, what are your favorites? I'm leaning toward getting Novum, but would love to hear some other thoughts!
  10. Just noting that they are similar in style and sound and one is 1/6th the price of the other.
  11. And their reverb is a good alternative to Pro-R
  12. That was mostly because Korg switched websites so you had to manually migrate things. It's easier now.
  13. Saurus is on sale for $70 as well to go along with this update.
  14. Ezmix needs an interface update badly...and has needed one for years.
  15. Those Hugh Padham drums sound great. Too bad I don't have Superior.
  16. So Studio Monkey created an account today just to post in this thread, picked a username that plays off of Jim's Studio Cat company name, and he's "just curious" with his questions that you can gleam from the website? Nothing suspicious there. Nope not at all.
  17. Got a Project Studio DAW from Jim back in 2014. Still use it to this day and have had absolutely no issues with it. Early on, I had a few settings changes that I wanted to make and was not sure how to proceed, and I called them up and they walked me right through it. Yes, you do pay more (parts-wise) for computers from Jim and the other companies that build DAWs, but the know-how to tweak things so they just flat out work is worth extra. Plus, you've got an actual person to talk who knows their stuff to ask questions if something does go amiss. That extra cost won't be worth it for some people, and that's fine. After my positive 8 year experience with a Purrrfect Audio DAW, I'll be going back there for my next one.
  18. Their legacy plugins became free. They still have current updated plugins they sell.
  19. Thomann has just dropped their EZX sale prices to $41. So, they're the best for the drummer expansions.
  20. It's where you buy EZBass and get a MIDI pack free. No discount. https://www.bestservice.com/deals/toontrack_take_it_ez_added_value_offer_4221.html
  21. I'm seeing Thomann listing the discounted EZX's at $69, but at Best Service, they're $52.95. Are you all seeing something different? How is Thomann cheaper?
  22. It looks a lot like Patchwork by Blue Cat Audio.
  23. I recommend seeing a doctor. ?
  24. I was so confused by this. It's not a Tone 2 plugin...it's from Tone Empire. ?
