Projects opening with *asterisk as if edits were made?
HIBI replied to Christian Jones's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Seems that plugin "Absynth" may be sending somehow message to the host and Cakewalk is responding by treating this as an edit change and dirtying the document. I believe @Noel Borthwick can look into it. -
It would be nice the Tap Tempo module with "Set (to the whole)" and "Insert (to Now time)" buttons.

I remember having same problem but it's happened with a project which has only MIDI tracks and it's already fixed on 2019.05 build 31. So I think that problem you are having is caused by other thing. But maybe there is some hints on this thread at that time. -

My friend saying: can't drag & drop MIDI patterns into MIDI track in some DAW (Cubase or Studio One?). Really? I can't repro because I don't have ModoDrum...

Looks like "Lock Module Order and Justified" is checked. Center Control Bar modules I don't know why are you getting it every launching...

I guess a cause is the way what you did to select the clip. How did you select the original clip? with clicking the MIDI clip? with mouse dragging on the time ruler? or other way? Anyway, you can select all of the original MIDI clip with just clicking it.

That's correct. About a week ago: 2019.07 build 70 Yesterday: 2019.07 build 79 (hotfix)

I think pasted MIDI clip will be same length of original clip even if data is not present at the "clip ends". How did you copy the clip? Did you select notes of the clip with dragging on the time ruler? or selected with clicking the original clip on the track view? I think you are selecting notes of the original clip with dragging on the time ruler. Probably the clip was selected partially not full length.

I like an old Marshall Guv'nor so it's intriguing but $29 it's expensive a little to me...

Ah I see, talking about "Files of type" of the file open dialog window on Cakewalk. Yes, .midi extension is filtered out. It's a problem. I believe it should be fixed easy.

@msmcleod Seems that date at Apps & Features is installing date with full installer not differential installer.

You might want to change/add File associations on Windows.

This issue is fixed in Hotfix Early Access 1 (2019.07 build 72). I guess it will be officially available on next week via BandLab Assistant. Ofcourse you can also install Hotfix EA1 manually now.

What is "SIT"? -
So... in short, does this issue happen with specific MIDI device is set as MIDI inputs? Seems no problem here. (FYI: there is only UA-101 as MIDI inputs on my system)

Some people are having problem.

Now, METAL-GTX has a GUI. It was updated on this month. (1912 also has a GUI now)

Yeah, these are really good SFZ instruments! I'm usually using them. Especially Guitars, Bass guitar too.

I think that add "Rollback to previous version" option in BandLab Assistant would be nice because I guess BandLab has a policy what users can install Cakewalk only via BandLab Assistant.

SOLVED -Beep when opening Cakewalk and Sound Forge
HIBI replied to Michael Fogarty's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Maybe because lately Jesse Jost was working for fixing email notifications. That notification beep comes from browser.
