?New plugin release! Version 0.7.2? https://github.com/sdatkinson/NeuralAmpModelerPlugin/releases/tag/v0.7.2 Here's a few of the new things: * "Normalize" switch makes models* the same loudness as each other. Demo in video! * Performance improvements! Should drop CPU usage by 30-40% * Bug fixes! File paths with non-ASCII characters should behave now, and the last directory used for models & IRs should track correctly on macOS now. Enjoy! *Models have to be from trainer version 0.5.1 and onwards. It's already in the source code so early adopters can use it today, but I'll make a proper release and point the Colab toward it by default soon. Hang tight! -- the above was posted on the Facebook page from the creator - - Steve Ack —

It sounds fantastic though, so definitely worth adding it to your toolbox IMO.

Glad to hear its working out for you too. I really couldn't get the GUI to work, but opening the text file and adjusting the settings manually wasn't very difficult, but it did take some time reading the documentation and trial and error.

I'm not currently using cakewalk, but I can watch YouTube videos and play guitar through Vsts in Reaper at the same time with no issues. I've also heard people using OBS for screen video recording while using other DAWs as well. The trickiest part of FlexASIO is setting the configuration file to fit your workflow, but once it is done properly it works very well. https://github.com/dechamps/FlexASIO

I know this isn't an answer to your question, but I really struggled to try and get the AsioLink software to work properly and it seemed to arbitrarily reset to configurations that were detrimental to my workflow. I now use FlexASIO instead and it is rock solid for using simultaneous streams, but it isn't a routing solution if you are trying to pass an input to an output.

I think it is a truly amazing bit of software and highly recommend to everyone. You can load a midi clip you like and stylistically adjust or set as new style. It uses very few resources and is very intuitive for basic use. Im still learning the more advanced stuff, but there are some great tutorials on YouTube.

https://modsound.co/tubular Next-gen amp simulator // public beta Tubular is a step forward in guitar amp simulation technology. Wave digital filters enable us to simulate complete amplifier schematics explicitly. Physics-based tube equations are solved every sample. The Tubular beta includes 15 amps, 5 cabinets, 5 speakers, 8 pedals, and stereo modulation, delay, and reverb rack effects. More of everything is coming in Version 1.0. Tubular is available at a 25% discount while it is in public beta. Updates will always be free, including more content, features, and bugfixes. My favorite one right now. The clarity is amazing. Warning: pretty high CPU

So for those who bought it, do you think it is a good purchase? I have Majestica and I like it, but it is so washed out due to the natural reverb and mic positions. I'd like to know if the additional mic positions, especially the spot one(s?) might be more dry? Also, any other opinions. Doing Google searches led me to believe that people had differing opinions and some had buyer's remorse at $1500, but no real discussion about the mic piece or additional articulations.

I got them too!

This is still for sale with the same code and it KICKS *****! Super heavy, articulate, and dynamic. I don't know how I missed this post in December?? A new product is expected to be released soon with discounts for folks who buy this too. I think it will be some cabinets.

https://www.kirkhunterstudios.com/products/concert-brass-2/ It is a little older, but I like that the reverb can be turned off to better sit in a mix. Still installing right now, which is also a dated process of unzipping 30 or so files, but the demo videos for my attention. Going from solo instruments to different divisi options upon the use of number of polyphonic notes is cool too.
-
Wow, just picked this up too. Really playable and fun. Surprised at the size given how dynamic it is.

Hello all, Gain-stage has some great sims, especially the Bogner, called Bodo. They are ridiculously CPU intensive though, so test before purchasing. I also don't really care for their licensing per machine, but the sound is amazing! The prices are from €19-25 https://www.gain-stage.com/shop
-
So I'm trying to decide on this or Mercuriall's or the gain-stage bodo. Although I could do a couple I feel like one would be fine. Anyone have any thoughts? https://mercuriall.com/cms/details_xtc https://www.gain-stage.com/shop

https://tonelib.net/purchase/ $37.50 vs $49.95 I think the amps compete well with most Sims, but the effects are fantastic and the acoustic guitar is worth it alone in my opinion. I also like the online preset sharing and the most flexible routing I've seen, ever! You can have like 5-8 routes for effects!
