  1.

This is a repost from earlier posting below with the beta announcement now live:

    --------

Also: New version update of Spire seems to be around the corner. They've announced Spire AI which seems to be an AI-driven preset generator.

  3. My first play with MOK Waverazor was pretty unfavorable because I was playing it pretty statically.  Once I started playing with and modulating the XY pads, the synth starts being a crazy digital play house.  It is VERY digital and noisy and distorted and sharp, but it gets some sounds you can't make with other synths.  The GUI is also painful to use and understand, but once you dial it in, it has a cool futuristic aesthetic that starts to make sense with use.  My advice is to play with the XY pads with your mouse while playing and it seems like a completely different and dynamic synth.

  4. If you put 8 DynIR cabs, normal price $80, you get 2 for free, so you are only charged for 6, normal price $60, but then you use the code " genome24 " and get 8 cabs for $44!

That's $5.50 per cab, which is pretty reasonable for their quality and they claim that it is equivalent to 160,000 individual IR files.

You can demo, and absolutely should, every cab that you are interested in and even save presets, even if you haven't purchased them, so you can quickly compare to determine which cabs you want.

You do need either WoS or Genome to use DynIR.

I think a great comparison cab with other personal IRs is their 4x12 Mesa Standard OS Slant cab.  YMMV.
