  1. I know I'm late, but IMO if you want all the orchestral instruments (+choirs, pianos, drums, world instruments etc.) Musio is the best value. It's been as low as $149. I'm guessing that deal will be back on Black Friday. They've even added mic positions to the orchestral instruments.

Am I eligible to purchase this even though I do not have any previous Total Studio Products?

Yes, owning any of their Max products is enough.

And you can get it for $83.99 if you look what cclarry posted before you.

I've never owned an EastWest library before and I'm a little overwhelmed by the choices offered.

I'd like to give one a try. If you were to recommend one for an all around great library of instruments, what would it be? I'm more interested in regular sounding instrument (as opposed to the sound effects kinda stuff - if that makes any sense).

So far, I'm looking at an leaning towards Goliath, but would love to see your recommendations if you have any.

    Thanks

You can try ComposerCloud+ for free (if you haven't before). The best part is you can preview all the instruments in their Opus engine and download only the instruments/articulations you want to check out.

  5. The Lite versions have a tiny footprint (<50 MB) so they don't have proper samples. They sound surprisingly good though and are a great choice if you need a decent piano for an old/slow computer.

The Pro versions have 5-8 GB of samples which are renamed .wav files (the samples load pretty slowly, but that's the only negative thing I can say about these pianos). They're very good for the price and the plugin and its UI are great too.
