yeah. i hear you. i am just hesitant to buy now as it seems the GB always includes lots of stuff. i recall i picked up Lurrsen on sale, i dont regret it as its a great product and i use it often, but last year then there was the GB, ran out of things to get, and the Lurrsen was an option at my price point, but since i already had it, wound up wasting my pick on something of lesser value. Just saying.

sneaky. they changed the promo code since this morning. my price is also $34.99 now. @Peter - IK Multimedia if IKM are going to do that, they should at least let us use up some jam points on top of that. as a courtesy.
-
all depends if you are willing to wait. IIRC, the IKM GB is usually in August to Sept.
-
I have to get me some Cherry Audio one day. They look like they make some cool stuff. Good to know Softube is the one to beat.
-
yup. same here. good deal for this but I will wait for the GB in summer. IK have quite a few things that I am looking at - TEAC tape coll - Fame Reverb - MESA 2 - MODO Bass 2 - MODO Drums 1.5
-
I think that page is where the IKM developers are posting their bug fixes. ?
-
did you check this link? https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1423 I just saw it.
-
me too. I was almost right. $26.44 ? https://everyplugin.com/cla-2a-compressor-limiter.html
-
Check everyplugin. You might get them for 24.99 ?
-
I think I will pass this one up. I keep playing around with Syntronic and can't justify the disk space.
-
This is a really interesting strategy. To be honest, I use MODO Bass and MODO Drums much more and holding out for some sort of GB which includes upgrades to those 2 and 1.5 of each would be a better investment.
-
the more important thing is do you hear a difference? I do hear a difference.
-
good price. good synth. different.

i still don't get how all of EZ Drummer 3 is 20 GB and Syntronic 2 is over 150GB.. maybe more.

I just watched the walkthrough. So is it me or does it seem TT just filled EZD with all the SD features? Has anyone had a chance to compare this to the UVI soul drums offering? -
oh man. its still too steep. waiting for that new Volume collection to see whats in there.
-
I see. So basically, if I were to purchase the Syntronic 2 version of this, i just get the ability to edit the presets that I already see , or does it add a whole bunch of new presents?
-
Greetings. So I went around playing around between Syntronic 1 and Syntronic 2. I was using the Bully in Syntronik 2. I see lots of presets, but I can't edit most of them, just a few of them. So does this mean those are all mostly Syntronic 1 presets running in the Syntronic 2 engine? Do I need to buy "Syntronik 2 - Bully" in order to get the Syntronic 2 presets for this synth or is the Bully a Syntronic 1 product that runs in Syntronic and there is not V2 version of it? I was also looking around between the two interfaces, on my screen, I dont really notice a loss of clarity of fonts. On my setup, I am using a pretty old monitor and crappy 2GB video card.

I like to mix emulations and sampled. I just like to mix and match from different companies products in the DAW , in the feeble hopes that it results in some sort of more interesting sound.
-
At the expect on disk space. ?
-
Now there is a band I have yet to discover and get into. I am into all the usual suspects from that era, but only vaguely know their music.
-
I am no expert and I only know what I like to use. So far, from listening to the demos, the Megawave sounds the most usable to me. I also like the Obie One. Not sure about the others yet. But I guess at the point, if you but one, you will get them all. As an Arturia user as well, what I like about using SampleTank/Syntronic is that the interfaces are easy to use as they aren't exact emulations, and if you are familiar with T-Racks , its real easy to dial in the correct level of effects to try to get what you want.

Thanks. Will try those demos out
