So basically nobody was buying into Sonar as a paid product.  Now it's back to being free.  Make up our minds, please.

Speaking of IK, today I decided to demo T-Racks6 Intro.  Supposed to only have 3 plugins active, classic compressor, classic equalizer and master match x lite.  I own a bunch of the T-Racks5 versions of their plugins, two of which showed up as me owning the T-Racks6 version of them.  The Bus Compressor and EQ-81.  Very strange.

I contacted my sales rep at sweetwater, the pricing is NOT an error.  Not a glitch.

Is this a legit free plugin?  I remember a week or two ago where someone posted a code for pluginboutique and it was never intended to be used by the general public, but was for subscribers to loopcloud.

Very simple question, if I were to upgrade to T-Racks 6, the paid version, will I be able to use my V5 plugins in T-Racks 6?

To explain my opinion a little more.  I'd like to have the option to use my V5 plugins in V6.  I want IK to give me a reason to upgrade my plugins from V5 to V6 other than simply compatibility.  In other words not being able to use V5 in V6 simply because they are V5.  If there's no significant difference between V5 and V6, what's the point?

I have T-Racks 5 and the plugins aren't bad.  No better or worse than other popular developers.  After looking at what T-Racks 6 has to offer, I'm not impressed.  I'm not seeing anything that makes me say, "I need to upgrade".  I have a bunch of T-Racks 5 plugins, if I upgrade to T-Racks 6 am I able to insert my T-Racks 5?  If not, that's definitely a turn off.

I updated what I had a "free" update for.  Looking at the release notes, absolutely hilarious.  It's almost as if they have one person doing all of the updates and bug fixes.  What a joke.  It's like they're bragging about knowing how to tie their shoes.

I had to roll back to v1.1.5 because every time I would attempt to open the stand alone version of v1.1.6 it would blip out of existence.

I have ARC 3 with the mic.  When I log in and check my upgrade price to got to the hardware option it lists $249.99.  Does this sound about right?

I cannot get Cubase to find this instrument.

Every time I go to install one of their plugins it sets off my firewall.  Has anybody had their firewalls throw up warnings?  How legit is 2B Played?

I contacted SSL support and they resolved the issue.  I had to redo the process of adding it to my cart and all that crap.  Once it was processed it showed up in my iLOK.

Worked for me.  If we already have it, would it be a good idea to just hold on to it and wait for the next Group Buy?
