….plus includes new content which sounds amazing for a free update

For other stuff I watch videos, look up reviews, download demos, etc. To pick my duplicate freebies, can’t tell you how many times I’ve opened that promotions page and stared at it blankly for like 10 minutes before I close it and decide to look at it again later hahah

I saw in another thread someone who really wanted pro and suggested spitfire to upgrade their payment systems to accept kidneys as payment haha
-
I think your link has chapters haha
-
Did you mean in favor of BBCSO? Because as it stands left me depressed either way haha
-
I left it downloading and went to sleep I think for me took about 2.5 hours as I may have peeked a couple times while I got “water”. Man was I thirsty last night hahah I’m sure spitfire is better but I had a bad experience buying an ssd from a developer. I think they bought it from some black market or something. It was some unknown drive maker and I didn’t trust it’s quality. I’m sure had Sony guts haha. So I put up with the downloading. Edit: my cable company charges me $10 for going over my data cap. For $200 I can spend it better buying something else I don’t need instead of another ssd haha

I had a couple of their free instruments and now I see they are on Reid’s BF list on vi-control as well. I like the ambient guitars. check them out… https://www.minimaltonal.com 30% discount code is 30BFMT Each sells for 24€ normally. This is their trailer for their libraries:

As soon as I upgraded to pro I had people in the house address me as “sir”. That lasted 30 seconds heheh.

Okay so I failed to resist and upgraded to pro as well. $330 for a whole orchestra was hard to pass up. Im not pro enough to use the different mic positions but saw a couple of videos where I could see the potential. I was looking at Hollywood orchestra opus but that was a much bigger investment. Here is another video with good info about differences between discover, core, and pro showing how each version sounds playing same piece. Most will be okay with core. I’m trying to push myself so hence the pro upgrade.

Here is a good lead vocal production example:

Well, I never claimed I was good at math haha.

Was trying to see if I could manipulate any of my freebies to get syntroniks 2 free. So far I’ve only been able to download the free cs version, and using a different combination I think i put the company up for sale.

At $249 was too rich for me. I caught it on sale for $149. At the BF price it’s a great deal. I really like it and while it doesn’t have nks support all the knobs map to controls so works great when opening inside KK. Some people see it as gimmicky but to me it does what I was after. I haven’t tried using my own samples though. This is next on my list. -
Updated symphobia 1 coming before end of year. Free to existing users. https://vi-control.net/community/threads/symphobia-1-version-2-0-update-coming-very-soon.117580/

For anyone that went from standard to pro, was it worth it? Just curious your thoughts after using it a while.

If buying one library, found this deal. Use BF50 code (this weekend only). Sound Yeti libraries discounted to $65 each. If buying two, comes out similar to sound yeti site where you buy two and get one free. https://yurtrock.com/collections/virtual-instruments

I got this a while a go. Use this for sweeps/risers. I honestly havent read the license recently but don’t remember anything jumping out as an issue. Will need to check again.

I was lucky and picked up core and aroo during different sales. I haven’t used them as much as I’d like to but my first thoughts is that aroo, like Albions is mostly pre orchestrated. It sounds really good and can get things out of it quick. I like the modular (building block model) that Christian talks about in video below. BBCSO is not pre-orchestrated so you get all the parts. Of course Pro gives you a ton more. Bottom line it forces you to orchestrate and it’s more classical in nature. It sounds amazing too but you need to put in the work. I got core on sale anticipating a pro upgrade sale at some point. To move from core to pro during this BF it’s $330. I picked up something else so will wait for Christmas/Advent sale. Beside I don’t have the 650GB that Pro adds so doesn’t make any sense for me. if you haven’t check out this video:
