Thanks scook. But can a higher sample rate theoretically result in lower latency?

I thought there is lower latency at higher sampling rates? Isn't that a benefit to some?

Since I mix out of the box, I am usually at 88.2/24 or sometimes at 96/24 Mix down I usually use several sample rates of the same mix. Who knows what format will be the most common in media in the future?

I wonder how long it will take for this new cakewalk to have equaled or bettered the plugins from platinum? Oh well - I am not complaining, but it will make it easier when using a new computer and the old platinum may not load?
