  1. Very good . Me too. I will also have a song I want to create, even have it finished, then try to get AI to create a song similar to mine. What I find is that AI gives me ideas on how to improve song forms and even arrangements. The songs generated from AI sound so formulaic to me, but once in a while there will be an idea to pull from. The future will have those who use AI and those who don't.
  2. Here's the thing, yeah AI can create great songs, but nothing original. The lead vocalist sounds like a melding of Steve Perry and another voice. The guitar sounds great, but just like a million other rock guitar songs. So now we all gotta be way more original. Kinda how Adele came with new style, or Billie Eislish. Make a unique style guitar solo or vocal and AI will need time to catch up to you, not the other way around.
  3. Ok I have a Korg BX3 and a TX7(The module version of a DX7) . Use them once in a while. ...don't mean to be playing a version of "Can You Top This"
  4. I know you guys live far out there, but you should try digital antennas. I had cable routed thru the house. When I ditched cable I put a big antenna in the attic, paid about $190 at Best Buy... and reversed the signal flow from bottom up to top down. I have 3 TV sets with lots of channels . Sad part is there is no one to watch TV anymore
  5. I have been purchasing way too much from sweetwater this year I have found that some things come in normal ship times, other things are not coming as fast due to the item being not in stock. So I think it is what they have in inventory dictating shipping times.
  6. Hey so I'm using the free version. When I play out I do not have it connected to the internet. If it needs to renew it is going to cause an issue? I don't need to save or do any kind of editing, just play the dang track. Anyone doing the same?
  7. My daughter plays flute and did so in high school. Not to brag, but I'm bragging...she is a world class flute player and song writer in LA. In Marching band and Pep band she was the Drum Major, which was funny because she knows absolutely nothing about sports and always needed someone to translate what was happening ...something good or something bad.
  8. SO COOL Bit! My daughter was involved in Marching Band. What was even more fun is the basketball games, they might have a Pep Band. The band is less supervised by teachers and "jams" can break out at anytime. SO COOL! I was kinda grateful that they would have a football game at the MARCHING BAND EVENT!
  9. I wondering if you are happy? I knew a guy who was half Scotch and half Soda...he was happy all the time.

    Celestial Oblivion

Hey wait!!! ....it's not in Am. Just sayin'. Very Cool anyway...
  11. I live in Chicago...so we never forget about Da Bears!
  12. Sounds like the tempo is not the same and the piano plug in has a different middle C. Find the correct tempo and transpose. All should be good.
  13. This is the old "Picks and Axes" marketing strategy. During the California Gold Rush it wasn't the gold minors that made the most money. it was the ones selling the Picks and Axes. Yep, Listen, Music is the only way I have made a living for 40+ years and I feel much the same. my time has come and gone and there are huge number of people putting out pretty decent music. I'm refocusing and creating music that students can learn from.
  14. Mark Knopfler - Brothers In Arms Best use of geetar ever. Great song. Makes the guitar cry and speak.
  15. Any middle school orchestra teachers out there? So here is a piece I did. You can purchase it at JW Pepper. AI is crazy. Not enough hours in the day now. Rockin' my world!
