It already seemed like a small upgrade (several things that should have been fixed long ago) based on the $129 upgrade price, but at $199, I think it will be a hard sell.

In the past at some point (based on my past orders, it seems BF-New Years) There has been an upgrade for Vx -> Vy for $99. So if you are patient you can get the upgrade, but then that won't include SQ80 V (and the 2 free sound packs), as that will likely be in V9

I almost bought Resonator today.. then realized it wasn't a "qualified" product for buy-in. What a shame.. was thinking about a second buy-in. Not sure why it's not, I'm fine and understand that it's not a freebie, but it would have been an incentive for me to buy it (I already have Indiginus Resonator), so guess I'll pass.

For a second, I thought that might be a video explaining about the super high upgrade price.

I don't think that 'system is set up so people don't pick up things by mistake' is working, since I can pick many of the items I have. OK, I'll open a ticket up. I'm at the $199 tier, so that should be an issue. Do I just tell support what I want added to my account, and they will add it?

Peter, Is there a reason that I can't select a free item that is one I already own? (I can with some items, but not others) If I want to add additional licenses or sell the paid version I have and keep the freebie? And some don't even show up active or greyed out... (like MixBox)

Not really a deal - $99 is the regular price. The Essentials product is new, but "for beginners" (their words, not mine)

Speaking of IK's "working", their customer support has been terrible for me. I ordered an AXE I/O and no notices, no shipment, 12+ days later. I sent an email to support, and they responded that they don't have any, and don't know when they will. So I asked them to cancel the order. I ordered one somewhere else and got it in two days. Meanwhile the order was still not cancelled. So I registered my new AXE I/O. Later the that day they finally cancelled my order AND removed my AXE I/O which I bought somewhere else from my account. It's now been two days and I still don't have my purchased product back in my account. Terrible support.

Just a note, although it may not give you the extra discount (DeluxeBucks) you get at AudioDeluxe, these are also on sale at UVI, and adds to the amount spent for the yearly personal voucher amount UVI gives out. Runs through September 6th.

Maybe an IK subscription service is coming...

It seems they decided that the $150 was time limited (without any notice, or end date). So the upgrade from Special is now $249. (just in case anyone comes across this thread)

They just saved me from purchasing something else ? which I had queued up to get (but didn't really NEED)

Seems they also fixed the loophole and the main page now says "any final purchase" ?

I tried this, and it will only show $249, maybe the sale is over.. or their system is just awful (of course it is awful regardless) fortunately the instruments age good.

GRM Tools Complete II was $239 earlier in August. I'm not sure they understand the meaning of "Complete" ?
