Hi Zo what i normally do is start with one of the presets, then carefully adjust the parameters for the particular track I'm working on. For instance on the De-Noiser, start with say the Auto De Hiss Classic, then I carefully set the Threshold, then adjust the reduction on the De-hisser and the removal tab. I listen on the Diff setting to see what I am removing. then I can adjust the Tune, Air and colour controls. i suppose I have gotten used to these plug-ins over the years, so I do understand there is a learning curve - but I've always found if you can spend a little time with them, the results can be excellent. I have izotope RX10, but I prefer these - I expect it's because i've had them so long and know how to use them!! i believe that is the same for most plugins - if you have had them for some time and have taught yourself how you can get the best out of them, they are then the best!!! a good example of this is I still have and use some of my Kjaerhus 32bit plug ins - especially the gate, which I prefer over much newer plugins!!!
